Forgot About the Damn Bridge Already ....Let's Fix the Damn Roads First...A BatBlog Rant

The BatBlog has pretty much supported Jeffersonville mayor Mike Moore through out his first term. The hardcore Galligan coalition on the City Council (Smith, Zastawny, Sellers, Julius) have groaned and moaned about Galligan's defeat and have politically done everything possible to make things difficult for the mayor in their attempts to make him look bad and slow any progress in Jeffersonville initiated by Moore. None the less, Moore learned the political  games himself very quickly and has bantered back and forth with the Council, pointing fingers, calling names etc. at them as well as state agencies like INDOT.

Enough already !!!  Forget about the damn Big Four Bridge....as we pointed out in our post yesterday the landing and the park both responsibilities of the City are a disgrace and aren't anywhere near  ready for the opening of the Indiana side. If you really want to do something for the citizens and taxpayers who elected you....Fix the Damn roads and  traffic infrastructure it's a mess...the influx of traffic for Amazon, the bridges project construction and the ignorance of past leaders who decided to widen Hamburg Pk. before Holman Ln. leaves traffic patterns and traversing the roads in Jeffersonville smoothly, damn near impossible.

The main throughfare to Clarksville is Holman Ln. and it's a parking lot during rush hour and with traffic increasing it will only get worse. Jeffersonville in a money grab by Galligan and his lemmings on the Council at that time, annexed a huge part of the eastern suburban neighborhoods but had no plan or clue on how to provide traffic and road services for the newly acquired residents....The traffic with Court Ave. reduced to one lane for bridge construction is equally as bad, as is 10th St. with all the traffic heading towards River Ridge and Amazon...

So Mayor step back and forget about the walking bridge, and how to get Ky. residents over here. Take care of those who pay for services they are not getting the taxpayers here in your City. Hell you could walk across the Clark bridge for the last 50 years, and still can if you want. Take a look around and see what is really important.... Forgot about the DAMN bridge....

Welcome Derby Visitors to the Sunnyside of Kentuckiana....

Well the Indiana side of the Big Four pedestrian bridge didn't get opened in time for the Derby, much to the consternation of Jeffersonville mayor Mike Moore. So for the unfortunate Kentucky Derby visitors who won't be able to gaze at the magnificent scenery provided by the Indiana side. We here at the BatBlog as a public service  have provided a pictorial guide to what our visitors will be missing...Enjoy our scenic tour and a trip down memory lane....

Here we have what looks like a broken pipe and a  picturesque chimney off one of our historical mansions...

Historical mansion row ...a row of some of the great architectural masterpieces of this area notice the meticulous care these homes have been preserved with...

Here is one of the historical mansions in all it's glory, preserved on blocks...notice the exterior decor I believe it's French  provincial

As you exit the bridge you'll see the beautiful landscaping that adorns the area and is visible from the bridge itself note the ornamental grasses and I believe that is a bale of straw an excellent choice of decor....

Front view of "Mansion Row" location of some the finest mansions and most aesthetic views for visitors  as they navigate the Indiana side of the "Big Four Bridge"

While not fitting with the historical theme of the area note the pavilion currently under construction which will provide shelter for weary pedestrians who should be careful not to step on boards with rusty nails and other debris

Rising above the various adornments and decorative settings is a tree that is native to this area it provides a little shade for travelers on their tour of our historic homes...

Back side view of the historic homes notice the meticulous care of the back lawns and the ornamental fixtures that really magnify the essence and character of our area....

Seriously...Why would anyone want to come over here and stay after looking at this mess. First impressions are important and the BatBlog feels that the bridge should stay closed until this area is made at least somewhat presentable.  In it's present condition I can't see anyone wanting to come over here and visit the downtown shops, restaurants or bars. Not sure if the state is responsible for the landing area and park as well as the bridge, but whoever's responsible needs to get off their asses and clean up this disgrace before anyone even thinks of opening the walking bridge. The BatBlog just doesn't understand the mayor's rush to open this thing. Either do it right or don't bother to open it until it is right..................................................

Which is More Offensive ???

According to Captain (Not so ) Obvious NHBSM the little black lawn jockeys aren't offensive and neither is the Confederate flag. I guess it's a matter of prospective.... maybe we can use lawn jockeys depicting NH as a promotion for the Jeffersonville Canal. Captain Flip-Flop dissed the Canal for 2 years until he was axed now it's a great idea..... go figure.

Offensive ???

Don't Bite the Hand that Feeds You....

M. Moore shoots himself in foot ....again
Mayor Mike Moore's recent problems with the INDOT Indiana Dept. of Transportation over the opening of the Big four pedestrian bridge, may be another case of  "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" or "Don't let your mouth overload your Ass."  While Mr. Moore is to be commended for looking out for Jeffersonville business owners and resident's interests the BatBlog is not sure bad mouthing INDOT on local television stations and in the press is the smart thing to do or the right way to go. After all the state of Indiana through INDOT and  federal funds is financing over 80% of the money for this project. Another thing is that state agencies and departments of government don't like to be embarrassed with negative publicity and comments about them to the media.

Mayor Moore in our opinion would  have been better off working behind the scenes maybe calling the Governor and using a little political finesse than calling out INDOT publicly. Moore has shown a tendency to over react in his differences with both the City Council and now INDOT. Sometimes you have to cut your losses and look for other political avenues instead of just bad mouthing those involved, which is just a knee jerk reaction....

With all the road and highway construction in this area's future with the Bridges Project there will be times were Moore and Jeffersonville will need INDOT in the future, and their leaders might have short memories and remember Moore's theatrics to the press. And that could leave Jeffersonville on the short end on future funding or help. To be honest as the BatBlog reported before Jeffersonville isn't even ready for the opening of the Bridge anyway, our end is a mess.

Sorry Mr. Moore but you're tearing a page out of  former mayor Tom Galligan's operations manual by trying to bully people  and throwing temper tantrums to get your way. And that doesn't work especially when your're dealing with people who may have more pull than yourself and who you may rely upon for future help.  Mr. Moore you need to get your act together and use a little more constraint if you have any notion of re-election as Jeffersonville mayor or helping Jeffersonville residents.

Confession of an Internet Hacker

*************************************** UPDATE ************************************

BANNED
Well it didn't take long for my little buddy to get banned , poor guy never hurt anyone, never got a warning point, never used foul language, never even got a notification he was banned by Adolph Quasar...what a way of treating a member in good standing..... Wouldn't it be funny if HT just picked someone out and said it was him.....no one would ever know....Just goes to show the Chatter hierarchy monitors and reads the BatBlog, thanks for stopping in...... leave a message sometime....Unlike the Chatter no one with differing opinions gets banned around here , this is a democracy not totalitarian dictatorship like the CCC....
***********************************************************************************************************************************************************8

LOL This little near sighted dude whose picture I found on the Internet represents a hacker who hacked his way onto the  local  forum the Clark County Chatter. The head Nazi in charge Quasar made the claim that HT would never post again on the Chatter LOL....WRONG...helped by my little buddy Scott Ferguson (made up name) he has (HT)  posted quite a few times in the past couple of months. He even baited ole NHBSM a few times LOL....boy that was fun LOL..Just goes to show the Big Q ain't as smart as he thinks he is LOL. I'll admit it isn't the same as posting as yourself and the novelty kind of wore off quickly.... but there are 2 other hackers controlled by HT that are still members.....Guess Who Big Q ???  LOL LOL

New Jeffersonville Police Station....Wasted Tax Dollars or Needed ???

Is the new multi-million police station really needed or is this another example of political grandstanding and wasted tax dollars ??? A lot of taxpayers aren't aware that TIF (tax increment financing) funding that is financing the new station actually takes tax money away for the cash strapped County. Forcing the County to file suit creating mandates in order to make up for the shortages, which then creates  increased taxes on property owners.

Property owners  in the rural areas of the county in essence are actually helping finance sometimes frivolous projects like the new police station, in order to make the local politicians look good for the next election. The BatBlog is pretty sure residents in Otisco and other outlying areas wouldn't see any benefit or be too happy about helping finance Jeff's pet projects. Until the state legislature starts limiting the TIF dollars that drain County dollars away from them this in our opinion unfair practice will continue, and our local politicians will continue to abuse it....

Let's be honest while there is crime here locally this isn't New York City or even Louisville. Police officers here probably spend 90% of their time locking up drunks, directing traffic around schools, and cruising the local fast food, and Thorntons...The current station should suffice, especially if it would save taxpayers money...

The Blame Game.... The Big Four Bridge Project Delay

The Big Four pedestrian bridge has been delayed once again and immediately the "Blame Game" begins. Mayor Mike Moore blaming (INDOT) Indiana Dept. of Transportation for the delay and threatened to open the new walkway anyway, but backed off when he discovered funding would be lost if he did so. INDOT has blamed the weather conditions this winter, a design flaw, and a change in the lighting plans for the delay. The two head idiots on the CCC Kruger and NHBSM blamed Moore for the delay. Of course they blame Moore for everything from global warming to Obamacare, so nothing is new....

The BatBlog feels there is enough blame to go around without everyone pointing fingers. Yes the construction has been slow and this is primarily a state project so local officials have a right to be upset with the state. On the same behalf local officials and Mike Moore is mayor so he shares the blunt of the blame , having been equally slow in preparing the landing area at the foot of the bridge. What will eventually be a park looks like a war zone , unfinished construction, little or no grass and whats with those 4 or 5 dilapidated old houses sitting on blocks. Jeffersonville isn't ready itself for the opening of the bridge. This is one major embarrassment and eyesore. With first impressions being important there is absolutely no reason for someone traversing the bridge from the Kentucky side to want to leave the bridge and explore the downtown Jeff area .... Jeff needs it's act together soon or when the bridge is eventually opened the landing area will still be a complete mess.

In the Batblog's opinion the Jeffersonville side has been a comedy of errors from day one. Under former Mayor Galligan all the property in this area was purchased for a "Canal " project which died an uneventful death. Mike Moore inherited all this land and decided upon creating a park in the City block of acquired land. Some park area is fine but the City really missed the boat to create a nice area of restaurants, cafes , bistros and shops in this area that would spur economic development. As it sits now pedestrians will have cross a residential area to reach the downtown businesses preparing for hopefully an influx of new customers exiting the bridge. If the City had been smart they would have acquired the small strip of residential housing between the bridge landing and Spring St. as well. Putting in the above mentioned business and creating a better transition for the downtown area.

In conclusion, no one ever accused this City of doing things the correct or prudent way and progress moves at a snail's pace around here. Considering all the political bickering and back stabbing, it's a wonder this project even got off the ground...and it's only fitting that the Big Four Project has been delayed, complained about and everyone pointing fingers that's the Jeffersonville way.....Meanwhile the two resident Grumpy old Men NHBSM and Kruger look around for something else to complain about and blame Mike Moore for.

Everybody Loves a Good Fight

Wow you all must really like the controversy...394 page views today and 342 yesterday after Pesty opened the thread on the Clark County Chatter about bringing me back on board. I guess everybody loves a good fight. Thank all of you for your comments and e-mails.

One Chatter member e-mailed that I shouldn't be so bitter and try to make amends. Well I'm not bitter at all, don't hate anyone I just speak my mind and tell it like it is. I just find it ironic and hypocritical that Quasar someone who posts topic after topic on his forum about government control and interference in our daily lives, won't even allow the members who are the strength of the CCC online community to speak their minds, which is the ultimate form of control.

Another person said I should have taken over the Chatter when it was offered to me early on and then I could have banned Quasar. No that wouldn't have happened, for one thing I don't have the time and secondly I would never had banned him. I'm a bigger person than that to ban someone over petty differences.

But enough about the Chatter we have an election coming up and plenty of good local stories to keep a blogger busy , the views on the site are growing more everyday thank you for dropping in. Also if you have any tips, ideas for a story, feel free to e-mail us here at the Batblog at

Response to the CCC Thread about HT

The Clark Co. Chatter has a thread opened by my friend PestyII, entitled  "Hoosiertaxpayer is it time to bring him back"  the thread also includes a poll. While I appreciate Pesty II's intentions I have no desire to return as long as the Chatter is run by the Neo Nazi Skinhead in chief and bold faced liar Quasar....While I miss the interaction in a forum setting of a lot of the good people on the Chatter  Pesty, Kelley , Tina , Bikerdude. Donna, JHS82, Integrity Matters, Ironhorse, Jules, Chopper, Snowman just to name a few. A lot follow and correspond through the  blog which is doing way better than expected since I resurrected it in January. It is well over 225 views a day now and growing.....

I have never bad mouthed the Chatter it is a great community and community asset with great people involved, it's just a shame it has to be run by a buffoon who thinks he's Adolf Hitler who can't understand and is too thin skinned to take a little sarcasm. Besides he can't keep me off it anyway, I have 3 other active accounts one of which I will reveal to the world Friday....Guess Who ???

If you want to know the real reason I was banned  CLICK HERE. Again Thanks Pesty II for the good intentions but to Quasar ...You can take HT's membership and stick it up your ASS.....

**********************************UPDATE ***************************************************
The Fuhrer has spoken and locked down the thread....Even though it was mostly positive and the members had voted in favor of bringing back HT, in Gestapo like fashion the Big Q shuts up any dissident voices much like Nazi Germany.....be warned there is no such thing as freedom of speech on the Clark County Chatter ....

Signs, Signs, Everywhere a Sign...

Political signs are popping up all over town and the County as Clark Co.  prepares for next month's primary. If the amount of signs is any indication Jerry (keep em in jail) Jacobi and "Toxic" John Perkins seem to have the edge in that department. Don't know if it's out of desperation or popularity that these two have a decided edge in the sign department. The BatBlog just doesn't get it, why would any educated voter allow a Jacobi for Judge or a John Perkins sign on their property. Doesn't anybody read the paper or watch the news ?? Jacobi's incompetence and arrogance in running the suspended "drug court" probably will cost taxpayers millions in lawsuits. And "Toxic" John not only exceeds Jacobi in arrogance but he has the personality of a slug.... surely to heaven their abnormal number of sign for these two has more to do with their egos, their desperation and their money spent to see their names in print than their popularity. But then again Clark Co. has never been accused of being an intelligent electorate....look at some of the other slugs we've elected over the years, some multiple times....

Laura Harbison Jacobi's opponent for Judge has to be running the lowest key campaign in history. I have yet to see one of her signs. I will be voting for her and wish her luck, I just hope she isn't underestimating a voting public that at times isn't too educated. The public has elected incompetent hacks like Jacobi before, even after scandals like the drug court mess. So voters beware let's do the right thing and retire Jacobi and Perkins for good......

The Clark Co. Probation Office and Court System is it Broken ???

More controversy in the Clark Co. court system. It seems like the other local judges don't agree with Judge Dan Moore's idea to consolidate the (2) HIPs (home incarceration program) now being used here in the County. Presently one is operated by the Clark Co.Probation Office the other by Community corrections. Judge Moore who is also president  of the Community Corrections advisory board would like to consolidate the programs into only one to be maintained by Community Corrections.

It seems that Judges Joe Weber and Vicky Carmichael have a problem with Judge Moore's idea and  the question is why ??? Weber wouldn't comment on the News/Tribune story...So what gives Judge Joe  why not ?? Seemingly the Community Corrections program is more efficient with newer technology on the ankle bracelets attached to the defenders and  CC has a better track record in getting the offenders hooked up as soon as possible. The Probation Office often waits until the offender has the money for the fees before they are hooked up.

Judge Moore who the BatBlog has a lot of respect for, feels this is win /win situation to consolidate. For the County financially and the public safety of citizens. So what gives ??? Why are the other judges opposed ??? is it not wanting accountability for the fees collected ?? Is it political ??

The probation office has had enough problems with the drug court fiasco, it appears to be mismanaged and somewhat incompetent. It's time to do the smart thing and listen to a voice of reason that of Judge Dan Moore

Blunder over Louisville....

Call me a spoil sport, party pooper , grouch or whatever but I won't be going to "Blunder over Louisville" this year and HT's "Blunder" days may be over for ever. As you get older your tolerance for standing elbow to elbow and fighting 100 million people for a prime spot to view 30 minutes of fireworks diminishes greatly. Don't get me wrong when "Blunder" first came I was right in the middle of it stalking prime real estate on the riverbank for the big show, and it is something to see at least once.

In the early days there was plenty of prime viewing areas in Jeff, close to the bridges. As time has passed commercialism, businesses and government have conspired to make "Blunder" another way of relieving you of your hard earned money. Initially on the Jeffersonville side you could enjoy the fire works by spreading a blanket on the riverbank. Until the powers to be donated the land to restaurantuers who have managed to squeeze about 15 restaurants into  the space of 3. Now you have to pay a premium price  for those once free prime viewing spots. You can pay the big bucks for a seat inside  at one of the riverside eateries or you can pay a smaller price to be herded like cattle into a fenced area around Kingfish and sit in a tent. If you're really adventurous and a glutton for punishment you can sit in traffic for a couple, three hours each way and head over to the big lawn in Louisville where for the mere price of a Pegasus Pin you get the privilege of sitting or standing with another 100 million people. Added bonus this year be prepared for possible gang activity....Priceless

Yeah HT will be avoiding the whole area this year with added construction of the new bridge it should be a real mess down there. I will check out the air show from my backyard, they haven't figured a way of charging you to look up in the air yet, and though I can see a distant sight of "Blunder" from my back yard, I won't bother...I've seen enough over the years. I won't even miss the the artery clogging, heart attack wagons that deep fry everything from a twinkies to cauliflower while taking up more viewing space. I'll wake up Sunday morning having missed the whole experience but then again I haven't missed a thing....

Mike Moore ...The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

First of all I would like to point out I am not, repeat not Mike Moore's boy, like several have labeled me. I am a Democrat and voted for Teresa Perkins in the Dem. primary and had she won I would have voted for her in the fall election won by M. Moore over Galligan. With Ms. Perkins background and experience  I thought she would be excellent as mayor.

I'd had enough of Galligan who in my opinion bullied his way through basically 12 years of dormancy and bad decisions. I didn't like that Moore had switched parties even though it was probably a good political decision, but my vote for Moore was basically an anti - Galligan vote more than anything. I followed Moore when he was Co. Commissioner and thought he made some sound decisions and was a conservative voice on fiscal matters who had public's interest at heart. I really had high hopes for his mayoral term and thought he was what the city needed a breath of fresh air.....Now I'm not so sure....

The Good

Moore's first good decision and what his campaign was based on was NO canal. I thought this was a good
decision it was an over priced campaign ploy by Galligan who knew he was in trouble politically. The Canal never had the support of the majority of voters and it was wise to stop it...Moore's second good decision was sinking (no pun intended) of the boondoggle "Blue Goose" the monstrous Riverstage that Galligan got suckered into buying. It end up I believe being sold for scrap...good move. Thirdly early in his days he fired NHBSM,  the Benedict Arnold supporter of his during his campaign who was I believe appointed to the Re-Devolpment Board ...

Moore also has had some good ideas, the replacement of the docks and planned fishing wharf is an excellent idea of a blighted eyesore at the riverfront. The park at the corner of Allison Ln. and Middle Rd. is a great improvement and he has had some other equally good ideas....

The Bad

Moore's first bad idea was appointing Rob Waiz as Redevelopment Director. Waiz in my opinion is not qualified for a job of this much importance, he has a background in selling real estate and insurance. Redevelopment Directors need to have experience and expertise in redevelopment and even if an outsider had to be hired, it should have been done. More than likely Waiz's appointment was a political favor returned, Waiz should have never been selected.

Next is Moore's on going feud with the City Council. It was no secret that several of the holdover Council members had deep allegiances and ties to former Mayor Galligan. It wasn't going to be easy to overcome these allegiances  and Moore should have realized this early on and slowly worked on the cooperation necessary for a good relationship needed between the mayor and a city council. Early in his term the City Council made some decisions that were obviously political in nature but instead of cutting his losses and moving on Moore took a more aggressive and public tone and probably at some point alienated even the newly elected council members and those with more of a neutral stance.

Another bad choice of the Moore administration is the development of the property at the foot of the Big Four pedestrian bridge. Turning this whole area (2 square blocks) into a park was a bad choice, while a small amount of green space is necessary it would have been nice to incorporate some pubs, bars, restaurants, shops close to the landing area. As it stands there is a residential area between the downtown (Spring St. establishments) and the bridge landing this should have been transitioned for a better flow for the pedestrians crossing the bridge.

Finally the snails pace that the Big Four Project has moved leaves a black eye on our area. This isn't totally the mayor's fault as this was a state project, but the mayor's decision to open the bridge before completion of the landing area is a poor one. First impressions are important, and construction area and work, no grass, four old houses (that should have been destroyed) sitting on blocks will not leave a good first impression and surely won't invite people to return....

THE UGLY

The ugliness began during Moore's campaign with the infamous mailing by his political enemies. It continued when he was elected with the snide remarks by loser Galligan the day after the election to the local media. Ugliness has been a continuing  theme throughout Moore's term.  Early in his term The Oracle (political enemies) appeared on the internet, whose main ploy was sexual innuendos and double entendres focusing upon the mayor's personal life. Then came the battle with the City Council and leaked personal e-mails and text messages to the press and among Moore's political enemies.

Mayor Moore though has been  an equally ugly participant in these political games. Instead of using class and restraint in some of his battles with the council. He has taken the aggressive approach of firing off text messages and alleged e-mails to those he's had differences. Sometimes it's best to just cut your political losses and move on and work on mending those political fences intelligently and with finesse not aggression. Personally I have seen a difference in the mayor as well, before the election he would bend over backwards in greeting and acknowledging you, now you are lucky to get a nod.

Has the bad and ugly so much he won't be reelected ?? I don't know... people vote for strange reasons at times and Moore has always been a popular , strong vote getter over the years in Clark Co. Would I vote  MM again ??  I don't know ....I guess it would depend on the opposition. Julius doesn't impress me, he has close ties to Galligan for one and I didn't like the fact he used the Haven House Sewer bill drive as a photo op. I will say Moore has disappointed me, while he doesn't deserve the name calling, juvenile rants by idiots like Keith Fetz and Hutt he has I'm afraid become nothing more than a ego driven politician and those are a dime a dozen around here...

Open Letter and Thank You to Keith Fetz

Most of you are aware of the verbal back and forth, possible grudge between myself and former Jeffersonville City Councilman Keith Fetz over the internet. On my part it's just mostly just a playful jibe at a politician, ex-politician in this case.  It started as me being a open critic of the Galligan administration and Jeff City Council  on the CCC Clark County Chatter. I was very much against the annexation which personally effected me and I was very vocal and opinionated in my opposition. Which after all is the right of every citizen, voter, and taxpayer. Well as a lot of you know a lot of our local politicians can't take any criticism or defeat at all , they go into full attack mode. Because they aren't intelligent or manly enough to argue their position on the issues they go right to the name calling. Fetz is a prime example of what you get when you voice a dissident opinion here locally.

Because I defended Mike Moore from Fetz's moronic, teenage , sexual innuendo rants on GAW and because I've poked him little with some jabs of my own he's turned his attention on me...The fact is I'm not really a big Moore supporter at all, but do believe he is entitled to a chance to prove himself without all the personal criticism...keep it political. I voted for T. Perkins and would have voted for her had she won the primary. If Fetz wants to keep up  his attacks and name calling on me that's
fine I can handle my own with this imbecile....I just think it's funny when I realize we actually elected someone like this in Jeffersonville.

Don't get me wrong I poke fun at some of our elected officials, but I've always tried and believe I have kept it in good taste. I don't delve into or comment on their personal lives, I leave it to the issues and their actions as politicians nothing more. I hate no one not TG , Fetz, Ed Z., NHBSM, Sellers, Perkins or Smith or any one I've jibed at a little bit on the BatBlog. I try to touch on with a little humor added some of the issues, topics of conversation, controversies of this area with no malice intended. At times I can be sarcastic and opinionated but I really don't take this stuff too seriously...its mostly in fun.

If Fetz wants to prod me about the blog and poke me with his sophomoric sexual innuendos fine, game on it might help my page views which is up to over 200 per day and growing..I actually would like to thank him for proving my point, that we elect(ed) a lot of buffoons and clowns around here and he's at the top of the list. Thank god he couldn't cut it in politics as we need to get rid of them all.....

*** As always Mr. Fetz I invite you to come on the BatBlog , your comments and opinions are always welcome and I know you read the BatBlog so the floor is yours....but here's betting you don't have cajunas to do so...

The News/Tribune

In today's age of the internet, television, smart phones, and social media; newspapers are becoming the dinosaurs of the media world. Even so there is still a need and audience for well written, hard hitting newspaper reporting especially at the local level. While local television stations cover the big local stories they are limited by time to cover everything important. That's where newspapers like the News/Tribune can create a niche following by delving into controversial stories that the public really wants to hear more about.

Case in point is the recent post on the BatBlog " Hey Whatever  Happened To ???" There was a big response to the post. People like to read follow up stories on questions like what happened  afterward ??? After an arrest or political scandal especially when public officials are involved. Of course public officials detest controversy
or news items that put them into an unfavorable light and hope the controversial stories go away. With a discerning public out there wanting hard hitting , honest , updated news stories and editorials. Who will provide them ?? The BatBlog attempts to, will the News/ Tribune follow suit ???

Just Wondering...Hey What Ever Happened To ???

Justice or non justice moves rather slowly or not at all in Clark Co., depending of course on who you are, or who you work for ...

Whatever happened to the Jefferesonville police officer arrested for buying illegal steroids in his police car  from an undercover ISP officer. Is he still working for the police department ?? Has he gone on trial ?? Any disciplinary actions ??

What about former Clark Co. sheriff candidate Chuck Adams ??? Wasn't the prosecutor's office investigating him for not filing the necessary political contribution papers  ??  in the incident where Adams allegedly offered the the contributor a job where all he had to do was play golf...What ever happened ???

What about the Drug Court Case....How long is this going to be stretched out ??? Are they waiting until after the election where Jacobi is up for re-election ?? Seems like there were possible criminal charges pending is this going to be pursued ??? ,....What ever happened ???

As the BatBlog has reported before the local prosecutor's office doesn't like to prosecute their own as in other government offices and their employees. There as been several cases of Clark Co. sheriff's and corrections dept. employees being arrested and the cases either seemingly just disappeared or the offending party just given a slap on the wrist.... Is the local paper News/ Tribune not following up on these stories ??

What Ever Happened ???
