I know everybody probably gets tired of hearing about NHBSM (Not Honest But Stupid Mike) and his continuous lies in order to attempt to discredit the Mayor Moore administration, but it's important for the truth to come out and you won't get it from  Not Honest Mike or anywhere else. Here's the truth and nothing but the truth...and you'll only get it here

Currently he is blubbering about how the Jeffersonville Redevolpment Commission  paid the fees of White Reach Development in association with their recent bid on the Hwy. 62 hotel project. Hutt  therefore contends the JRC is wasting tax dollars for paying White Reach's fees....

What he conveniently didn't say....

  What Not Honest didn't say is it is common practice for the winning bidder to pick up the various fees associated with getting the winning bid and the project. Thing is, thanks to some dumbass who sued the City  and which in effect ended the project there was no winning bidder (White Reach). Therefore the fees and rightfully so fall back on the Redevelopment Commission (which they paid). In effect Hutt's own lawsuit was a residual effect that forced the fees normally picked up by the winning bidder to be paid with taxpayer money. Since there was NO winning bid and NO project...

That's right, if you want to blame some one for the fees being paid out of tax dollars you can blame hypocritical Not Honest But Stupid Mike. Another thing NH forgot to mention is that the Redevelopment Commission picked up NH's legal fees in his lawsuit with guess what ?? That's right more of OUR tax dollars.... Hutt crows he doesn't like our tax dollars paying other people's bills...well guess what Dumbass ??? we just paid yours...

Most people have figured NH out he will do anything and say anything, twist the truth, and do everything in an attempt to make Mike Moore look bad. He's as phony as the day is long, he's done this before to Galligan and Moore, talks them up until they figure out he's just a wanna be...

We know it's early but we thought a pre election poll would be interesting on the Jeffersonville mayor's race. There could be late entries but we'll assume the race will be between Julius and Moore.

Top 10 Reasons To Either Vote or Not Vote For Mike Moore for Mayor

As far as progress and fresh ideas the BatBlog has been generally been pleased with Jeffersonville Mike Moore's 1st term. On the same behalf Moore has shown at times that he can be a first class jerk and merely another typical politician. With both these  factors in mind the BatBlog presents the "Top 10 Reasons" for either voting or not voting for Mike Moore for Mayor....

10. Moore's decision to rescind the permit of the Mac Construction's  asphalt plant is a good reason to vote FOR Moore. While it may be a mere political move, it was the right thing to do for the residents near the plant....

9. Moore's flip flopping from the Democratic to Republican Party is a reason NOT to vote for Moore. This still doesn't sit well with members of both parties ...this is part of the "typical" politician in him.

8. Another reason FOR Moore is the revitalization of the downtown area, while a lot of this was due to the Big Four Bridge he get's the credit for being in the right place at the right time....and the bridge landing was well done .....

7. The continual bickering between Moore and the City  council that at times became personal is a another reason for NO to Moore. He has shown himself as a jerk with alleged personal texts and comments about council members instead of taking the high road and just moving on when the obviously combative council plays politics instead of progress...

6. A FOR is that Moore can be a personable, well spoken representative of the city of Jeffersonville unlike his opponent Julius he has a personality. This is a strong attribute if used wisely and sincerely....

5. On the flip side the NO  Moore appears to sometimes forget the people who elected him. His warmness and interest of individual citizens seemed to diminish once he was elected. Once the campaign season gets in full swing shortly, the charm toward and concern of individual voters will surely return...typical politician...

4. The proposed improvement of the riverfront and the proposed development of the Hwy. 62 entry corridor (that was derailed by Not honest Mike's lawsuit) are both attractive and good ideas that will enhance the City if completed as planned. Good reasons to vote FOR Moore.....

3. Moore needs to be careful about making sure the continued development isn't haphazard and  the influx of new with the older theme of downtown needs to be done so it blends together. Also Moore's indifference toward the downtown homeless and his failing to get the EPA sewer consent decree done is a reason NOT to vote for Moore.

2. Moore's continued opposition to the "Canal project" is a good reason to vote FOR Moore. The whole idea behind and the money already thrown away on Galligan's Folly (canal) has been nothing more than a cluster F_ _ _ .     Big ideas + small minds = Disaster.

1. The number one and top reason to vote FOR Moore is the two "Village Idiots" NHBSM (Not Honest Mike) and Wilder are against him and reportedly support Julius. If these two idiot's are against Moore then he must be good for the City and the future....If you have to remember Hutt told us all that Moore was the second coming and how great he was before Moore fired his fat ass....So unless another potentially serious candidate arises ; on the mere fact that Hutt opposes Moore ...I suggest we vote FOR Mike Moore For Mayor of Jeffersonville...

Top 10 Reasons Not To Vote Julius for Mayor

 Don't know if any one else will throw their hat in the ring to run in the Dem. primary for Jeffersonville Mayor ...but here's hoping someone does...Anyway if Julius is the only candidate here is the "Top 10" reasons not to vote for him....

10. He voted as a City Council member to do away with Jeff City Court which more than likely will cause an increase in taxes...

9. Not sure how much he can be trusted according to some who know him very well....

8. Jeffersonville is big enough that a full time mayor is needed and pretty sure Julius isn't getting out of the flower and landscaping business to be mayor anytime soon...

7. He has the personality of a garden slug...

6. NHBSM (Not Honest Mike) is endorsing and financially supporting his campaign, which means Not Honest probably wants a position in his administration. Anybody that would appoint NH, has no business being mayor with that kind of judgement...

5. We can't afford every median in town being crammed full of plants and trees like Hwy. 62 at a million dollar a pop...

4. He was elected president of the City council....if this brainless council chose him to be president that's reason enough not to vote for him for anything...

3. He may gouge the taxpayers the way he gouges customers with his over priced plants and landscaping services....

2. He's good buddies with Galligan, who set this town back for  12 years we can't afford to be sent back any farther...

1. Anyone one being endorsed and supported by Hutt should run like hell just on the fact of past history....Obviously he lacks good sense...

BatBlog Obtains Photos....Where's John ???

In the continuing saga of  "where does "Toxic" John Perkins Live" the BatBlog has obtained photos of the continuous investigation. In the first photo we have obtained the official copy of John filling out his candidacy form at the Courthouse. Plus we've obtained a photo of NHBSM with his new telephoto lens trying to verify John actually lives in Bethlehem In.

Led by local political stalker NHBSM (Not honest Mike) Clark County Chatter members are calling for an investigation into "Toxic" John's candidacy eligibility. Not Honest appears to be calling for an investigation by the IRS, Indiana BMV,  Clark Co. treasury and assessor's office and Ky. teachers pension association and raising his property taxes....What an asshole ...remember NH stalked Perkins before, posting hidden camera pictures of John putting up Teresa Perkins for mayor signs and secretly stalked Tom Galligan driving a bulldozer. Just an opinion but this man NH needs some serious mental help...

We here at the BatBlog don't like "Toxic" John's politics either but jeez leave his personal life alone. Let him run... he has no chance at winning...Note to John get a restraining order against NH he may be going through your trash to find out where your residing...and to Quasar head of the Chatter who praised NH for his lawsuit ; What a dumbass you are for encouraging this idiot...For these actions we award NHBSM his second "Asshole of the Month" award with Quasar a close second...

As a  political blogger there are certain politicians and figures you just love that they keep hanging around, they make for great  stories. Fortunately Jeffersonville and Clark Co.has more than it's share of egotistical buffoons that provide enough blogging material year round that you never have to worry about a story. Near the top of the list  of local political buffoons is "Toxic" John Perkins...the perennial candidate and loser who hasn't won  an election since about what 30 years ago.

 Ole "Toxic" John  just doesn't get it...Note to John.....John the electorate despise you and everything you stand for. They don't trust or like you and there is no position in Jeff or Clark Co.that you can be elected to, You're old and your mere presence anywhere near the Democratic party  hurts the whole party and their any chance of regaining the respect and prominence they once had.

 John is either a glutton for punishment and ridicule is in denial or his monumental, self absorbing, narcissistic ego won't allow him to face facts. The thing about "Toxic" John is he had the intelligence and knowledge of how government is supposed to work to be a fine public servant, but his condescending attitude, personality and ego made him believe he was always right about what was best for the voters not allowing him to take advise or counsel from us mere mortals.

 So go again and run again John and we will see you again at the bottom of the vote totals in your city council race....the only race you ever won so many years ago. The part of me as a Democrat wishes you would just go away, but as a blogger here's hoping you hang around for years with the other local political buffoons Galligan, Hutt, Kevin (in Eleven) Vissing, Wilder, Keith (Crapper Flapper) Fetz, Ed Z and Sellers. They always provide material for a blog post and their ineptness makes things interesting...

The Real Truth Behind Hutt's Lawsuit Settlement....

You won't read this in the News/ Tribune or any of the local news agencies but the BatBlog has the real story behind recent settlement of Hutt's lawsuit against the City Redevelopment Commission... NHBSM (Not Honest mike) Hutt is gloating about it being a "win ,win situation" when in truth according to a city official very close to the situation it was actually a lose, lose situation.  In settling with Not Honest Mike the city redevelopment commission was merely cutting it's losses with nothing to be gained by going forward with a trial pertaining to the suit.

 Even if the City had won the suit, the deal with White Reach was already dead because of the reluctance of the firm to proceed with pending litigation against the development. So in order to save time, legal fees and money from lost revenue...the city folded their hand and at least gave the appearance to Hutt and his counsel that they were settling for a compromise. In fact, there is no reason the City Redevelopment couldn't just turn around and agree to the same deal  with White Reach or another development firm for the same exact price as agreed upon before the lawsuit. In actuality the Redevelopment Commission could just give the property away if so desired.

  In other words Hutt's lawsuit accomplished absolutely nothing other than presumably a nice legal paycheck for Larry "CanMan" Wilder and getting Hutt's ugly mug on TV and delaying or cancelling out a nice project that would enhance the city and bring in tax and retail revenue to Jeff residents and business owners.

 Apparently Commission attorney Les Merkley didn't cross all his T's and dot all his I's in the original agreement for the purchase of the property with White Reach. Someone apparently in the anti Mike Moore coalition (not Hutt he isn't smart enough) sighted this Merkley oversight which gave just the slightest bit of legitimacy to the lawsuit. In fact it was never about following statutes like Hutt crowed it was all a political ploy to stop or delay a plum project that would have been a feather in Mike Moore's political basket entering into an election year.

Once again like we have seen numerous times before, politics trumps common sense and progress in this City, because of political and personal grudges a couple of idiots were able to hold up if not cancel out a nice aesthetic and financial boon to our city. Hopefully this frivolous lawsuit will only delay not cancel out the development of this prime property, but you have to realize development companies will be aware of the hostile political atmosphere that is pervasive in this City and this may create a reluctance to invest their dollars and time in projects moving forward. Only time will tell...

What is sad is that we have sad little men like Hutt who permeate the City who put their slights and grudges ahead of their fellow citizens.  Fortunately most people see these sad little men and scoff at what they are....sad little men trying to look and feel important....The fact is though, the importance and relevance they seek.... well it isn't working,  we see right through them and what they are..

Rick Stephenson Win 1st Annual Public Servant Award

 

 Congratulations to Clark Co. Commissioner Rick Stephenson for winning the 1st annual HT- Dick Jones Award for outstanding public service. Despite Rick's recent arrest for DUI he out polled Clark Co. councilperson Kelli Khuri
for the victory.

 Rick's short tenure as Commissioner has been highlighted by his openness, candor and transparency to the public he serves, even following his arrest. We here at the BatBlog and the voters of Clark Co. are going to hold Rick to his word that the recent event won't repeat itself and "it won't happen again." Rick your award is well deserved but you are put on notice ....We will be watching you....

I'm Baacck....This and That

Been real busy, lots of things going on personally but hope to be posting on a more regular schedule from now on....Thanks to everyone who checked in during the down time....

   It's been pretty quiet on the local scene not many big stories recently  but things should be heating up soon...Hutt's lawsuit, declarations for candidacies of city elections  this year, who's running and not running....should be interesting....stay tuned....

   Rumor has it former School board member Becka Christiansen will run against Mike (Mr. Green Jeans) Smith in Dem. primary ....Becka is a solid candidate who would make a great council person...

 Keith (Crapper Flapper) Fetz (D) has already thrown his hat in the ring to possibly face off against Lisa Gill (R) in the fall in another city council race...Not much of a choice there.....maybe some one else will run, hopefully....

 I don't know about you all but I would love to see Hutt run for something, he loves to blubber about how screwed up and pitiful City government is, but he doesn't have the balls to actually run for something he crows he knows all about....I say put up or shut up.....

   Another thing that needs to be shut up...is those 3 or 4 pitiful souls on the Clark County Chatter that bitch constantly about Teresa Perkins resigning...Get Over It !!! I think she should have resigned to ...but she didn't.... it's over... jeez talk about beating a dead horse.....

   Gas prices at a record low...jobs for any body who wants one...noticed recently Obama's approval rating surpassed Ronald Reagan's at the same point in their presidency,,,still say a lot of the negative feedback on Obama was racially motivated...

 If the economy stays upbeat and if she runs.... Hillary will be hard to beat in 2016...the Democrats always come to the polls strongly in presidential elections...
