HT Comment - A Former CCC Moderator Speaks Out

   I received a comment yesterday from a former well respected moderator and current member of the CCC (Clark County Chatter) relating some of his own problems with Administrator Quasar (Big Q), and how he was unfairly called out and called names. He was very supportive of me, wished me well in a very nice message which included his  real name and email address. I just wanted to thank him publicly, he asked not to publish his comments and like several others that have sent  messages through the comments area and made the same request. I will honor his  and your wishes...

  He was particularly disturbed that Big Q posted his message of calling me out as a "bully" but locked the topic from any member comment. That's another thing that always disturbed me about the Chatter as well, the Administrator could at their own discretion ban a member but wouldn't allow any member's comments, input, or opinion or relate why the member was banned. I was given several warnings for merely inquiring about a banned member particularly Jules, Pesty, YMC (young Matt Chinn)....Isn't it ironic that the Big Q who rants everyday about government control and tyranny by the Obama administration, runs the Chatter with an iron fist of a maniacal dictator and tyrant he is, and disallows comments because of the coward and liar he is. Members are not allowed any opinions  on the very members that make the Chatter what it is....

Again Thank You for the kind message(s), and I would encourage anyone no matter who or what their opinion is to message me in the "Comments" area at the bottom of the page. Your wishes for anonymity or publishing your remarks will be respected, just say at the bottom of the message "do not publish" I love hearing from you....The BatBlog is a Democracy not a dictatorship like the Chatter, where your opinions are welcomed, heard and matter....

The Haven House - HT's Take...

 
                                                                               

    The Haven House once again is back in the news over unpaid sewer bills spanning over several years. This is just one of several controversies including a  non payment of withholding taxes on payroll from a couple of years back. OK here's my take on the HH, I 've said before Barbara Anderson the director is dang near a saint for devoting her life and energy to this cause of homelessness. With that being said Ms. Anderson's management and decision making skills seem to be lacking. Her refusal to allow an audit of her organization and chosen non-payment of essential and required costs associated with running her service to the homeless is to me disturbing.

I'm not sure of Ms. Anderson's reasoning about her non actions on the above mentioned issues, but in my opinion she is hurting her credibility. Any organization that relies on contributions from the public, has to have 100% trust from those that support their endeavor. Many would be donors, myself included have serious doubts and concerns about Ms. Anderson's actions and inactions. She is most entitled to manage the HH as she sees fit, but I have I wonder about Ms. Anderson's judgement here, and she may in effect may be hurting the one's she strives to help the most, the homeless...

opportunity concerning the HH. After the City Council Ok'ed a measure that would allow water shutoff to households (including the HH) with unpaid sewer charges, Councilman and mayoral candidate Dennis Julius started a charitable fund to aid the Haven House's back non payment fees. Mr. Julius' intentions may be honorable but he didn't waste time in creating some nice publicity and photo op's . I assume it was just coincidental that a N/T news photographer just happened to be in the sewer office and caught Mr. Julius in the act of handing over the first check from the fund....Jeffersonville Politics you got to love it !!!

 I especially liked this one the Big Q is donating money to the asshole baker who wouldn't bake a wedding cake for a gay couple's wedding . What's the old saying " A fool and his money are soon parted." I'm sure Q donated money to old George Zimmerman too. Which ole George used to settle up with his ex wife he knocked around.....Money well spent there Q , you could have gotten you an official Dittohead T-shirt or cap instead....

 Tina is a polar opposite to me politically but  she does have a good common sense approach to her party and politics in general, unlike a administrator over there who only preaches hate and divisiveness...Good job Tina ....

  But for my personal path, I have to feel like I'm fighting with a certain percentage of hope.  If ZERO Republicans were principled, I would definitely consider a different party.  But there are plenty of them that are, and they are in office too.  I hope and will work to get more of them elected.  And for those reading this that agree with me - STEP UP and stop sitting on the sidelines.

Clark County Chatter ...The Final Word

I'm trying not to be  to melodramatic about being banned from the CCC, but did want to add these final words. I got railroaded by a sad , little man who honestly gets his self exaggerated sense of importance by ruling over an online forum like the dictator he is. I was one of the first charter members of the Chatter going back to the "Hey Martha" days when it was sponsored by the E/N . I've posted under all the Administrators and Moderators from day 1 (Supermike, ColtsFan, the late Professor2, GG ). and many more that I have forgotten their names. I was offered ownership by the Professor2 and Granny after they took over from the originator SuperMike well before the Big Q was offered it, which I respectfully declined. My style of posting has been the same since Day 1, nobody had a problem with it for the most part until the tyrant came along. My posts were some of the most well liked and I had probably the highest percentage of "likes" of my posts, better than 1 out of every 2 posted got a like.

  I was pretty sure under the Big Q's leadership the Chatter would decline, and it has drastically...In the past the posts from different topics would come in one after another. Now they trickle in dominated by a handful of posters and usually on only 1 or 2 topics. I know GrumpyGranny put her heart and soul into the Chatter and I commend her for it. She needed help and in a final desperate choice chose Quasar. She was always fair with me, and I thank her, I should have heeded her warnings, that she didn't completely have control and to watch for the Big Q, but that's not my style I won't be censored and say what's on my mind....

 I just want everyone to know I am not the "bully" and "troll" the Big Q portrayed me as, and the lame excuse he banned me for. He is a liar plain and simple. I thank  those of you  supported me. Several CCC members have posted on the BatBlog, and asked that there comments not be published. Because of the spam on the internet all comments on the blog have to be moderated before publishing. If you are afraid of retaliation just put "do not publish" at the bottom of your comments and I will honor your wishes as I have those who asked before. I would love hearing from you as I do miss the interaction I had with some of you..
