  1. Thanks. I'd love to hear any funny Jerry's Restaurant stories from the past 50 years anyone would care to share.

    1. My memories from my youth at Jerry's are unfortunately clouded by the massive amounts of alcohol consumed before entering at about 4:00 a.m. I know one thing a J-Boy couldn't be any better than it was after closing down a bar. The service was always good and the waitresses were saints to have patience with all the bar patrons in their last stop before home.

Later on it was a good place for a family meal with the kiddo's at a reasonable price...Jerry's cole slaw was the best in the world...Good memories

  4. Jerrys and Charlie are a throwback to times when going out to dinner was an experience. Now eating out is far too common in daily lives. While Jerrys wasn't fancy it had a warm feel to it thanks to the Moores.

  5. I remember when the liar's club superglued a quarter to the floor near the register and then laughed at those who tried to pick it up.

RIP Charlie. I've often heard the measure of a man can be judged by the way his children turned out. Ya done good, Charlie.
