Polls seemed pretty busy at around midday Mrs HT and I were 350 and 351 at the GCC School Administration Bldg. Very short ballot, only about 5 races 1 uncontested... Mayor was there and seemed very confident. Perfect day , great weather, no reason for anybody not to vote...Stay tuned later in the night for returns and updates....
My Vote :

ReplyDeletereportedly absentee ballot counting machine is malfunctioning
ReplyDeleteThe absentee vote will carry the Jeff Mayoral election. Who has it?
ReplyDeleteclose races in at large races as expected
ReplyDeleteI am reporting you on Gawnews HT.
ReplyDeleteGoliath not believe there is an 'absentee ballot' voting machine. They run the absentee ballots through the precinct where the voter resides. At least, they used to.
ReplyDeleteFetz, White, Jahn and Maples leading early
ReplyDeleteJulius closing the gap with strong showing in one of the precincts
ReplyDeleteJahn and Vissing nearly even
ReplyDeleteMoore and Julius real close
ReplyDeleteAbsentee ballot machine malfunction is just a rumor flying around nothing official
ReplyDeleteSamuel , Owen and Ellis but all are close
ReplyDeleteGill has gone up on Fetz and Vissing Jahn nearly dead heat
ReplyDeleteGood job HT
ReplyDeleteVissing- Jahn going down to the wire tossup
ReplyDeleteGill and Maples are starting to roll...
ReplyDeleteReferendum getting pounded a solid NO
ReplyDeleteNeed to find a charger....phone going dead
ReplyDeletestill hearing about trouble with absentee ballots
ReplyDeleteMaples wins pretty big and supposedly Jahn wins too but there is the absentee ballot issue still out there could be a long night as somebody said they are being counted by hand...not verified
ReplyDeleteMoore still ahead but the absentee ballot rumor won't go away
ReplyDeleteGOP source says Julius needs a big percentage of the absentee ballots to win...
ReplyDeleteReportedly NHBSM teetering on the railing of Big 4 bridge..
ReplyDeleteRumor... high up democrats are conceding Moore win
ReplyDeleteKruger has joined NH on Big 4 ...
ReplyDeletejump, jump
ReplyDeletelook for recount in Vissing- Jahn race
ReplyDeleteRecount not gonna help if the absentees are hand counted...most likely
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahahhaa!.........
ReplyDeleteLooks like another beatdown for Dem.s in Clark Co. heard Clarksville going all GOP too....
ReplyDeleteLooks like the BatPoll was right on target ....pending the at large seats
ReplyDeleteGoliath hoping Brooksbank claim victory in Cville. Just for the dad blast entertainment value.
ReplyDeleteAs a past Judge for years at elections sights, Absentee ballots are sent to the sight that the person was supposed to vote in. They are counted there, if the machine refuses the balott or the ballot is challenged then it is sent back to be hand counted or reviewed by the election board.
ReplyDeleteRiverfool
I think Bikerdude is laughing at the thought of the Coast Guard trying to talk NH out of jumping...
ReplyDeleteI heard NH got a rope around his neck...tottering on the rail at the center of the bridge, you know..where the music plays.
ReplyDeletethanks for the info Riverfool

ReplyDeleteYay, I'm excited about the new stop light we'll probably get in the next 4yrs. Toss in another park and Moore's probably in for life.
Sweet Jesus Jeffersonville.

ReplyDeleteMoore by about 1100 votes
ReplyDeleteIf you're talking about the Sweet Jesus comment HT, no it's not Ed Z.
ReplyDeleteIt's me. :)
We're old friends but I prefer to remain anonymous here.
Ed Z. has the river up to flood stage crying on the bridge....Hutt says he won't come down until he gets a position...
ReplyDelete"Hutt says he won't come down until he gets a position..."
ReplyDeleteI'd suggest 'bend over ... grab ankles'.
Dustin White did win big in Dist.1 looks like White and Samuel only Dem. winners and reportedly 1000 votes being hand counted...looks like its about over but the celebrating...
ReplyDeleteLOL RF ...I wonder if Hutt can do a back flip...
ReplyDeleteThe Vissing Jahn race is close enough where the absentee ballots could be a difference....Good luck Kevin
ReplyDeleteHopefully he'll check in with us....
ReplyDeleteThat will be the only bright spot left in the evening if KV pulls this out.
The idea of funding a prepubescent's mall allowance doesn't thrill me.
Lucky or unlucky for her she's in my district and I'll be keeping close tabs.
I'm going to be her Mike Hutt. :)
Hate to say this butt..... I think the trend continues to the Presidental Election next year....
ReplyDeleteRiverfool
Was going to GOP victory celebration but can't stand to see Ed "Moe" Z. crying again this year....
ReplyDeleteHeading home "Turn out the lights...the party's over...
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone who checked out the BatBlog's election day coverage...
I'm down 33 with absentee, one more precinct, and early voting to go. Not looking good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kevin ...Good Luck...
ReplyDeleteLooks like the absentee vote tally changed only the at large candidates in Jeff. Caused a major difference: Ron Ellis in the 3rd spot instead of Steve Webb. Close, so don't know if that means a re-count. Big mistake that Clerk didn't proof read absentee ballots before sending to printer.
ReplyDeleteApparently still confusion in the absentee ballot count. Newest results on Clark Co Voting and Election website now have Josh Rodriguez in the 3rd position for at large council. At this point, I wouldn't surprised to wake up in the morning and find it has changed again.
