Looks like another case of dirty politics has risen it's ugly head here in Jeffersonville/Clark Co. According to a News/Tribune article CLICK HERE, that in a court proceeding Josh Rodriquez is wondering why, how and which records his opponent Steve Webb obtained while filing a complaint that Mr. Rodriquez intentionally used his wrong name when filing for the Jeff City council at large bid.
The BatBlog is interested too, especially who in the GOP initiated the investigation and how the records were obtained of Mr. Rodriquez's record. It may seem a minor matter ...really a Q or a G how trivial ...What is concerning is the effort Mr. Webb and his GOP cohorts apparently went to make this appear that Mr. Rodriquez was attempting to hide something from his past or his identity...
We call dirty politics and are disappointed that Mr. Webb (who the BatBlog endorsed) would stoop to this level. Mr. Rodriquez has been open and honest with his explanation of the Q or G and even brought out a minor discretion (DWI amended to PI) in his youth.
The council seat at large seat appears to still be in question after the recount and probably will be decided in court. The BatBlog hopes the court decision turns the race around and awards it to Mr. Rodriquez just on the principal of the apparent dirty tricks employed by the GOP and used by Mr. Webb...
Very tacky. I finally learn something about Webb, and it's negative. I did not, do not, support Josh as a council member, but this is dirty.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Wilder and wouldn't be surprised if Noel was involved as well.
ReplyDeleteWebb had nothing to do with this. This is all Wilder and Noel. Webb told me he just wants a fair election. I wouldn't be surprised if Noel used his law enforcement credentials to garner this information which would be unethical if not illegal.
ReplyDeleteThe Josh Rodriquez team knocked on over 10,000 doors. Way more if not 9,999 more than Webb. Webb just happens to be on the right team. Had Rodriquez been a Republican, and Webb a democratic Josh wins 2-1.
ReplyDeleteIf Webb "only wants a fair election", then why did he take the oath of office BEFORE it had been determined that he was the true winner? I believe that neither candidate should have been sworn in until this was settled.
ReplyDeleteInteresting comments about the alleged Noel- Wilder connection. Hopefully it will come out in court... as the way I read it Judge Adams has ordered the Webb side to produce the documents and how the information was procured.
ReplyDeleteYou have to hold Webb culpable though because it's in his name that the original suit to disqualify Rodriquez was filed. Whether he was following instructions more than likely we will never find out for sure...
I voted for Webb...wish I had my vote back...
Looks like we have some out of control power brokers, attorneys that will do anything in the name of get their people elected. Going as far as infringing on people's privacy rights.
ReplyDeleteWould anyone expect different? The names and party in power has changed. The dirty tactics remain the same.
ReplyDeleteAnything involving Wilder has a certain stink about it.
ReplyDeleteYup Wilder is a snake for hire, he was all about the democrats when TG was in now he is cosying up to the republicans.
ReplyDeleteWebb took his oath only after Judge Adams declared him a winner in open court.
ReplyDeleteOn Wilder a friend of mine said "If you are charged with a crime, hire a lawyer...If your guilty hire Wilder."

Noel, would never sully his alter boy image by doing something unethical or illegal. 😇 He and his employees are trying to clean this county up. That's all. How dare you? I mean, don't you pay attention ?? He's on TV or in the news constantly, talking about ALL the wonderful things he is doing! Why, I bet I see him on the news before week's end. I hope I haven't missed any. I am keeping count. I think I am well over 25 times just since the new year! I record them all AND play them over and over again! 💕
Record them and play them over and over again!!!!! You must be one of his relatives Good grief
ReplyDeleteLOL...
ReplyDeleteI think Anon. was being facetious though it is rumored that Matt "Lapdog" Owen has an equally large collection of Noel tapes that he plays every night...and a collage of photos plus a collection of Noel's quotes...
ReplyDeleteMatt Owen is twelve. He ain't got no tapes, you old fart! :-)
ReplyDeleteTrue Anon. his rumored collection is probably on a DVR, I did date myself with the "tapes" comment...
ReplyDeleteI was recently at a jeff boys basketball game, and Noel made sure he was at the door as everyone came in, then standing on the balcony in front of the flag during the national anthem. Quite obvious he wants to be seen.
ReplyDeleteJN is a classic Narcissist
ReplyDeleteWe talked to Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel at the game
ReplyDeleteand he was very friendly.
On the contrary to your strange attack,
he was unobtrusive and standing way over to the side by some bleachers.
It is good to see the sheriff at school events.
The flag to be observed was on the floor
with the Jeffersonville High School ROTC Honor Guard.
The proper etiquette for an American
is to face the flag
while saluting,
being at parade rest,
or placing your hand over your heart
during the National Anthem.
The sheriff being in the balcony
has nothing to do with where a person is to focus their proper attention.
The American flag to be observed and honored
was on he floor carried by the Honor Guard.
Also, remember to remain standing
and face the colors
carried by he Honor Guard
until they have left the floor
Thank you.
