So much for transparency in local government. Apparently the Jeffersonville City council doesn't have the backbone to answer the tough questions. Much like Dustin White's order to Cease and Desist the whole council has pretty much ignored and been dismissive to a local voter's and the BatBlog's question about the council's healthcare insurance coverage by the City of Jeffersonville.
It seems to the BatBlog that this council elected to hopefully be prudent guardians of of our hard earned tax dollars is more concerned with the self serving perks and benefits that they can take from our good citizens of Jeffersonville than protecting and and intelligently spending our money....
It is one thing to disagree with voter's concerns but to ignore and in several instances rudely dismiss a politely worded question shows the mentality and overall trend of taking care of oneself opposed to being a true servant of the public.
Like a turtle retreating to his shell, this council after just recently shamelessly pandering for votes, has gone into lockdown and refusal to answer a fair question. Why do you accept tax paid insurance ??? When employer paid insurance is available to most if not all of you...
The BatBlog knows a lot of the City council reads the Jeffersonville - Clark Co. Blog and extends an open invitation to publicly answer the above question...
Any takers ???

Good luck to that one HT. They don't even want anyone to know about it much less comment on it.
ReplyDeleteCat's out of the bag now. When citizens have to drudge out in the cold this winter to attend a meeting and confront the council publicly to get a response, it's going to get at least an honorable mention in the Tribune and more citizens will become aware of the perk. It would be so much less painful for them to deal with it while the questions are still at the emails and blogging level.
ReplyDeleteWill the citizens come out? Will the Tribune write about it? Those are questions to be answered.
ReplyDeleteI would be surprised if anything comes of this. To be honest most people just don't give a damn, unless you do something really stupid and newsworthy like Rodden, T.Perkins, Adams, and Jacobi did.
ReplyDeleteJust wasting tax dollars... the public thinks they all do it, and that's what politicians count on... the uneducated voter. These politicians kiss your ass to pander votes at election time then forgot about you , your ideas and do as they please after being elected...
Mrs. Perkins
ReplyDeleteis a highly intelligent person
dedicated to children,
whom had a problem with an attraction to 'shiny cultural adornment objects'.
She is paying a huge price and undergoing counseling.
She is very knowledgeable about school systems.
Counseling is appropriate. A felony probation
for shoplifting was not appropriate.
Rodden and Adams were slickly set up in my opinion. It was wrong
and a dangerous abuse of law enforcement and prosecutorial authority
in my opinion.
What in the **** Judge Jacobi
was thinking to allow his employees
that much unsupervised freedom to pull the boneheaded stunts
they allegedly were involved with is a mystery for the ages.
People did suffer from that.
"Rodden and Adams were slickly set up"
ReplyDeleteYeah those darn conniving GOP prostitutes will get you every time...

PHD has probably been wrongful accused of past missdeads. This behavior is typically associated with no parental behavior adjustments as a child. Unfortunately passing this bad behavior on to their offspring.
ReplyDeleteRodden, Adams, Jacobi, Perkins were caught red handed. PHD.... what's in your past?
To Farm Post Hole Digger ---- Ms. Perkins should have had resigned. Counseling may have been appropriate but remaining on the Board was not. The law has now been changed because of her and no one who commits a felony while in office will ever again remain on the Board. She is a poor example for children. The Board fired an assistant principal for theft -- but she feels "entitled". That is what is wrong with so many elected people --- they feel "entitled" -- just like the current City Council. Shameful

Absolutely; we'll see.
Bat Blog Fun!
ReplyDeleteThe Award Winning Bat Blog
does seem to have some "Most Angry Persons" aka (MPA's)
thinking about the possible sets ups.
Entrapment Techniques?
Remember that the persons
whom are often involved with
"creating incidents"
are very good at doing so.
Sometimes plants are craftily directed
by their intelligent "handlers". The plants can be directed
and controlled by the accomplished handlers as part of a set up technique. There may be a
"predetermined list of tasks"
to accomplish.
A "script" so to speak.
;)
There could potentially
be an allegedly
predetermined goal
and plan.
Thinking
and just discussing
should not be so painful for the MPA's
and should not result in attacks against persons
discussing issues.
FPHD is in serious denial and is only enabling the various crooks in government by minimizing their crimes. TP DR and JJ got caught this time and one has to wonder how many other times they did not get caught. If you do the crime you pay the time.
ReplyDeleteH-T, where are the farm boy's other very educational posts?
ReplyDeleteThey will help those that are so stressed.
Thee denial is obvious for some who will not attempt
to learn and grow as persons.
Let's get back on topic. The City Council NEEDS to eliminate health/dental/vision insurance for the PART-TIME council. Wherever they got their insurance coverage BEFORE they were elected, is where they should get it AFTER they are elected. The taxpayers do not owe the council members AND their families insurance --- costing the taxpayers over $600,000 over their 4 year term.

"Keep an open mind." The cry of conspiracists everywhere.
Translates as "Don't think about it, just accept the possibility"
no matter how absurd. An "open mind" is not an empty head.
I've known both Danny and Chuck personally over the years.
Chuck wasn't such a big surprise. Always had a few 'personality issues'.
But Danny really blindsided me. I was willing to give him the benefit of doubt. Then he hired The Trashcan Man. You don't do that if you're innocent. Saddened me a bit.
And Farm Post ... if you're going to use multiple pseudonyms you really need to change your posting style. It's way too telling.
Old news HT, give it a rest move on to something else.
ReplyDeleteIt's not old news. It hasn't even made the news. Yet. HT shouldn't give it a rest, he should take pride in his leading edge journalism.
ReplyDeleteMiss Carmel.
ReplyDeleteLook for something new , exciting and exclusive in the next few days. I hope this story doesn't die and some folks will bring this to the forefront. If nothing else it isn't fair to the hard working part time employees of the City of Jeffersonville who are denied coverage because of their part time status.... a clear double standard...
ReplyDeleteOne problem for the council, who very well may, some anyway, want to opt out of their taxpayer-paid plan NOW... may not be possible because their full time employer may make them wait until open enrollment which is typically Oct-December.
ReplyDeleteCease and Desist Order!
ReplyDelete"RF", et al:
The micr0-agressions
against the hard working Farm Post Hole Digger
must stop.
As the city council person says you are directed
to immediately 'Cease and Desist' !
Please stop the inaccurate, nasty, and childish attacks
and try to learn from Farm Post Hole Digger
and the informative Bat Blog.
If you had talked to the GSL, several lawyers,
and the law enforcement persons familiar with the set up
against DR, you would know
the persons used as an informer
against DR had been involved in 14 prior
contrived "operations".
The Bat Blog is merely providing information for you.
The bat Blog provides a good news source.
Being in denial will not help your recovery.
Thank you.
Farm Post Hole Digger, wasn't Miss Carmel involved in the political set up?
ReplyDeleteif they lose coverage, they can get on their full time employers plan immediately. It would be a "qualifying event" and they would NOT have to wait for open enrollment.
ReplyDeleteYes, according to Confidential Informer (CI's) sources
ReplyDeleteknown to the Bat Blog journalists
and law enforcement.
Off topic.... but if it is true Rodden was set up which the BatBlog doesn't believe. Did these same conspirators force DR to lower his county issued uniform trousers and issue the known prostitute credentials and C.C. sheriff's gear to wear ???
ReplyDeleteJust Say NO !!!
Even if true law enforcement "sets up" bad guys all the time and a bad guy got caught ...
ReplyDeleteJust Say No !!!
The technique utilized by intelligence operations is a strategy called "smoothing".
ReplyDeleteIt is a very slick operational process of manipulating an unsuspecting target.
This involves acting against a target with smaller, more manageable
steps. Some intelligence handlers are exceptionally
proficient and highly accomplished.
Good luck if you are a target!
