The Libertarian candidate for president Gary Johnson because of the unpopularity of the candidates of both major parties will get some serious consideration from dissatisfied voters this fall. This could bring the party itself welcomed publicity and news coverage...It's hard to imagine as of yet the Libertarian party being a viable force in the upcoming election but you have to admire their determination to be part of a grass roots message that may grow into something in the future...
Congratulations and Good Luck to local Libertarian chairperson Kelley Curran and all Libertarian candidates on this fall's ballot...

Thanks HT. It has long been a dream of mine that voters would have a Libertarian to vote for in every race. That dream is becoming a reality. This year, not only did we fill all the local ballot spots in Clark County, the Libertarian Party of Indiana has a full slate of Congressional candidates as well. Kelley and I have been working hard to grow the local party and we have had a lot of success recently. A see a bright future for the Libertarian Party of Clark County (In). If I don't say so myself, I believe Kelley and I make a great team. I hope to work with her to grow this party for many years to come. Of course, I would like to work with her for the next two years from my office in Washington, ;-).

A dream that the people of this country will once again love liberty and fight for it. A dream that together we will rise up, and with a loud voice proclaim that we are free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, we are free at last. That dream will become a reality. ReplyDeleteYeah ease up on them...with the dissatisfaction with Washington and the unpopularity of the two main presidential candidates Libertarians are garnering attention like never before. They are trying to build something for the future.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion they need to ease their stance on social programs and other issues that are ingrained into our culture before they can be a viable threat to the two major parties. They do have a message and ideals that deserve to at least listen to....
