Meet the Fab Four the four City Councilmen(woman) who seem to have the sole intent of making it as difficult as possible for newly elected Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore for the next 4 years. Make no mistake about it, the underlying factor determining the future progress of Jeffersonville depends on these Councilpersons putting aside their petty bickering, jealousy and political loyalties to the former mayor Tom Galligan.
Who can forget the long faces of pseudo Republicans Ed Z. and Sellers the night of MM's victory celebration at Kye's. This was the beginning of the frosty relationship that has evolved into silly political nit picking, going to the press, leaking personal E-mails, over even the most minor of issues. And rumor has it on the street that one or more of the Fab 4 may be feeding the Oracle (the website whose sole purpose is to discredit the Mayor) personal information. Which if true shows the true ethics and intent of these councilpeople. It's not about progress it's all about Politics. Which is a losing proposition for the residents of Jeffersonville

So true, and so sad. These four would sell their souls, wholesale I might add, for TG. I recall seeing Connie on election night at Kye's. Looked like she had swallowed a bad clam. Nothing of any merit will get done in the city for the next four years, and this gang will push all the blame back on MM. 2013 budget sessions are looming. Look for these four to screw someone in the Moore administration. Like I said before, collateral damage is part of the fun, the game.
ReplyDeleteJulius has his own mayoral political ambitions, plus his company made loads of money during TG years. The other 3 received jobs from the former mayor.
ReplyDeleteWhat they underestimate is MM's popularity and the hindrance they are to progress by playing their childish, political games. All it does is make them look foolish and the public recognizes this.
You seem to forget that these 4 councilmen are not the majority of 9.

I suppose I'm a simpleton in these matters, but I don't get their motivation. What are they losing by MM being Mayor? What are they gaining by these tactics? What did MM do to these people on a personal level to evoke this much hatred? Can anyone wipe that dumb fucking smirk off Mike smith's gourd of a head? Sorry, veered off course. Didn't MM keep department heads from TG's administration? What Jeffersonville Mayor has ever done that? Like I said, I just don't get it. Tom lost. Move along.
ReplyDeleteSomeONE? Word is half the Mayor's core staff is going to take a screwing simply out of spite. It's really a shame that these employees are being terrorized (and have been from the start) and used as political pawns in an effort to try to control MM or make him less effective.
ReplyDeleteThey've been around too long, if they are to the point (and they obviously are) where they view these people (and their families) as inconsequential or collateral damage.
It ain't right, and they deserve to be called to task for it.
