Bimbos and Hypocrites Everywhere..

The "Donald's" presidency, administration and base can be summed up basically as " Bimbos and Hypocrites"....Just this past week another bimbo emerged ...porn star Stormy Daniels. While Trump's lawyers were attempting to shut Stormy up, his bimbo press secretary Sarah Sanders was pretty much confirming the president's relationship , which put Donald's wig in a spin..The week before Hope Hicks in an attempt to disassociate from Trump's growing team of "Bimbo and Hypocrites " jumped ship and got the hell out of Dodge like many others before her...

Really what the Trumpster does in his private life is really his own business ...If he wants to frolic with big titted porn stars so be it ...at least be honest and acknowledge Stormy... she has feelings too. Melania, Sarah , Kelley Anne,  should welcome Stormy into the Bimbo sorority .

What's funny is Mike " the puppet" Pence who just smiles shakes his head yes to everything Trump says and does, but apparently his christian attitudes  don't apply to the Donald...just like Trump's  phony Evangelic hypocritical base who thump their bibles preaching christian values all the while Trump makes them look like fools they are...

Judge's 4th Circuit Court Race....Election 2018

Another interesting race developing this November will be the judge's Clark Co. 4th Dist. Circuit Court race between incumbent Democrat Vickie Carmichael and former judge and Republican Dan Moore... These are both fine people and capable judges and no matter who wins the people of Clark Co. will be well served.

Judge Carmichael is one of the few strong Democratic candidates remaining in the county and should be considered the favorite. She has an impeccable record and was in consideration for a Indiana Supreme Court position last year. Well liked and always a popular vote getter only a complete sweep by GOP candidates could possibly upset her...

Dan Moore was a no nonsense well regarded judge during his term of service  who is equally as qualified and would be  an excellent representative of our court system if elected..His no nonsense tell it like it is attitude has ruffled some feathers along the way but he was a fine judge with years of legal experience.  Even though Rep's are currently dominating locally , Moore will have a tough time defeating Carmichael in November's general election...she's that strong...

Regardless of the results and no matter who is victorious Clark Co.  residents will be represented by a quality person and an outstanding judge who will do a class job in district court....

Clark Co.Sheriff's Race... Noel's Race to win....

The BatBlog was a little surprised that only two candidates incumbent  Jamey Noel (R) and Dwight Engle (D) signed up for the Clark Co.  Sheriff's contest. Normally a large field tests the waters in both parties for the head law enforcement position in the county...

On the other hand one can see why ONLY Engle chose to oppose current sheriff Noel. Noel has managed and run the department virtually  controversy free, and even his critics would agree has done a top notch job in cleaning up the county jail and efficiently running the day to day operations of the sheriff's Dept...

Even though Noel was in a tight.race in 2014 there is no reason to think he won't win easily this year especially with current domination by the Rep. Party. Engle is a veteran in law enforcement but in the political climate of today and  with Noel's clean record  Noel should  win easily...The only thing critics might point out is the fact that Noel didn't give up the party chair as he promised after being elected in 2014, but that's really a non issue..

Jamey Noel is  currently the king of  Clark Co. politics in his duel role as GOP chairman and sheriff and will be reelected easily in November...Hail to the king !!!

2018 Primaries...A First Look.

It won't be too long until the 2018 election season will be upon us. The candidates have filed and there are some interesting races stacking up in both the primaries and the November general election.

First up that we'll look at is a GOP primary race... a race that really caught the attention of The BatBlog is the seat in  Indiana house Dist.71 between Dr. Kevin Burke and Matt " Lapdog" Owen...On paper this looks like a no brainer for voters ...a we'll respected physician with years of service in the public health field against  the former cupcake icer for a downtown restaurant who parlayed a gimmick mayoral candidacy into a city council seat...but this is politics and the obvious and most intelligent choice doesn't always win.

The BatBlog is actually surprised GOP chair Jamey Noel would allow Owen off of his short leash to run for a big boy office like the In.state House of  Representatives  where life experiences in our opinion are dramatically more important than showing up for parades and ribbon cuttings...but if there is one thing you can expect in politics it is the unexpected..
.
Nevertheless the smart choice , really the only choice is Dr. Burke but Owen has been able to garner votes in the past mostly on name recognition not on actual performance...So let the games begin and we'll continue to look at the other races in the coming weeks...
As always "Stay Vigilant"...

He's Baaack !!!

Just when we thought that "Toxic" John Perkins would do himself and local voters a  favor and retire...Well he's baaaackkk !!!  and ready  to lose another election this time a state Senate seat..Obviously John just doesn't get it,... for the last 30  years he has been trying to win an election and every time he runs ,voters reject him nearly unanimously...

Finishing dead last every time he runs doesn't seem to phase  John "the legend in his own mind" so we might as well get ready for more Perkin's unsuccessful runs...Maybe us Democrats should give John a participation plaque or some imaginary position with an office so he can feel relevant...Otherwise he'll probably keep cluttering up the local Dem. ticket for years to come...

Democrats here locally have enough trouble as it is getting elected and with "Toxic John" on the ballot, people are going to be laughing behind our backs as they cast their vote for his opponent, who ever it may be and for whatever other office "Toxic" John decides to run for...

Face the Facts...The BatBlog Take on Melin and the Downtown School

The BatBlog has been letting the opposing views play out , and we appreciate all the comments but....

Let's face the facts... Andrew Melin has sole control over the Greater Clark Co.School system. The GCCS school board is spineless in standing up to him and  useless as tits on a boar hog on reining in his spending and what's best for parents and students...

With that being said, those opposed to Melin CAN either hold a grudge over something they CAN'T control and have innocent children bused away from their homes and inflict hardship on their parents....OR accept the FACT that a downtown school no matter what is needed...

The opposition while entitled to their opinion has only ONE option in controlling Melin going forward...Vote out the school board that rubber stamps his every move with candidates that share your opinion...Neither you or I or the mayor can control how GCCS is being run, we can voice our opinions but that is the extent of it other than at the election booth...

I guarantee those opposed wouldn't want their children or grandchildren bused out of their home areas so do the right thing and support the mayor and a new downtown school....

A Word from Mayor Moore on a Downtown School

The BatBlog has received a letter (presented below) from Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore on the proposed downtown elementary school. The BatBlog appreciates and thanks Mayor Moore's participation and heads up on the state of affairs and news of Jeffersonville and the surrounding area...

I respect the opinion of those opposed to a new downtown school. It seems we agree on our frustration with our school administration but disagree on how to fight. If I may,  please let me speak my mind. Jeffersonville has seen an incredible resurgence in energy and life. That energy has brought a lot of new dollars, dreams and families to our once struggling downtown.

Together, we’ve created something special. Residents are once again beaming with confidence. The 1st District is once again 1st in pride. We’ve been dealt a difficult hand; allow our kids at Maple and Spring Hill to be bused out of downtown, or fight and unite to build a new school on Court Avenue?

I believe we fight! Our kids deserve ownership of a school as well. 26 independent residents representing different districts and different opinions were asked to spend three months going over the criteria of finance, location and convenience for a new school, unanimously they voted on one location....Court Avenue/Meigs.

Jeffersonville’s economic growth depends on a downtown school. I ask for your help. Please join me in supporting a new elementary school for our downtown.

Thanks,
Mike Moore
