Is "The Donald" Imploding ???

As this year's presidential race and campaigns continue, it appears Donald Trump's bid and  "The Donald" himself may be imploding. Not intent on discussing the issues Trump is alienating  his fellow, well respected Republican's , war veteran's, and undecided voters and even his supporters are having second thoughts. Which isn't the path to victory by any stretch of the imagination.

Anyone who  mildly disagrees or criticizes Trump becomes the target of his venom. Even a father of a fallen war hero drew his wrath after he criticized Trump at the Dem. national convention. His displays of anger over minor issues prove he has neither the temperament, self control or intelligence to be President of the U.S.

One thing any successful politician will tell you is that developing a thick skin to criticism is essential to the success of  being an effective leader. It appears that Trump  can't be impervious to the even the slightest of critics, A successful leader must listen  to those closest to him as well as others with constructive criticism. Trumps super ego and narcissistic personality  won't allow him to take advice from even the most respected members of his own party, which are abandoning his campaign in large numbers and in some cases the GOP party itself.

The election has a long way to go but without a complete reversal of temperament which appears impossible for "The Donald"  as his campaign is verging on implosion .

  1. He's gonna lose it any day. Maybe already has. He ordered a woman with a crying baby out of his rally and made fun of her.

    Good Lord!

  2. So I guess if we lose Donald we are stuck with a total liar. So tired of the establishment and the attacks on Trump while Hillary's transgressions are overlooked. We need change and it sure won't come from Hillary

    1. No, you're not stuck with Hillary. Gary Johnson will be on your ballot.

  3. With party regulars and long time republicans ditching Trump left and right it's obvious he isn't right. Clinton has at least party leaders behind her.

    2. You have to admit Woo that never in the history of presidential politics have so many former presidents, candidates, and influential office holders distanced themselves from their party's nominee to the point of not even attending the convention and in some cases declared to be voting for his opponent... Very telling IMO

  4. I thought the Donald had a chance. Even though it's still early, one thing that has been exposed....Donald is a poor speaker, and not very intelligent.
I did go see Hillary's America. Once any sensible person sees that film they would not vote for Hi-liar-y.

    1. LOL You must be hard up for entertainment Anon. Every election cycle these conspiracy theory laden, politically motivated trash pop up. Remember the one on how Bush helped the Saudi's with 9-11...

Save your money next time or check out the new Star Trek flick....

    2. Dang aren't you tired of politics? It's all over the tv can't believe someone would pay good money at the movies for political crappola.

    3. It's a historical flick at first, then gets into Hillarys lies and deception. You need to open your eyes! Go see it, then respond.

    4. LOL Yeah historic (rolling eyes)...coincidentally written by a far right wing wingnut...

No thanks I'll save my money ...I go to movies for entertainment not political propaganda and lies...which you hear everyday on the news...

  5. I think there could be several things at play.

He doesn't really want to be President...However his ego is such that there was no way he wasn't going to accept the nomination...But now that he has it there's no way he wants to be tied down to the Presidency for 4-8yrs...So what do you do??...Let your crazy take over and alienate as many middle of the road voters as you can...( I don't think it's possible for him to alienate his base)...Make sure you lose.

Or he does want to be President but realizes he can't win ( and definitely doesn't want to lose to a woman)...So still stay on the crazy-train ( just to keep the base pumped up)...Plus, it's fun and you like it...And finally to be the biggest pain in the ass and embarrassment to the Republican establishment because they haven't truly supported you and at the end of the day you want to bring the entire party down...Just because you can.

But regardless of which of the two scenario's are more to the truth, you also begin to plant the seed of the system and election being rigged...This serves DJT well on so many fronts...With his base buying into the idea of a rigged system he saves face and almost becomes a hero when he ultimately loses to Clinton...But perhaps even better he can spend years peddling his conspiracy idea's in an attempt to keep himself relevant and in the news...Marketing his name and brand.

Or he really is the egotistic sociopath nutter the he appears to be!! :)

  7. He may implode, and he does get snarky when people say stuff against him, I will admit that. But if you do the same to HRC, she will just have you killed. Just saying.

  8. What I don't understand is how any intelligent person could have truly listened to the FBI director's press conference -- and his questioning by the Congressional committee -- where he REPEATEDLY said that Hillary lied and lied and lied -- and yet still support her????? Are people really that "in love" with her that they are willing to overlook all that she has done??? Does honesty not matter anymore? Trump certainly isn't perfect but there is NO way I would vote for someone who continually lies to the American people. No way at all. I would love to see a woman president someday --- but NOT just any woman and certainly NOT Hillary. It is time to clean house --- the establishment has to go -- and that is why so many people support Trump.

    1. Almost no one is in love with Hillary, but they are incredibly fearful of Trump. I hope he is lying. Otherwise, he is really planning to scrap the First Amendment and commit war crimes.

I'm not voting for either of them, but Trump has managed to make the fact Hillary is a serial liar look like a minor character flaw compared to him.

Maybe that's been the plan all along.

    2. As Maureen Dowd said, "It's like two villain's from a Batman movie running against each other and voter's say, 'I'm going to go for the one who isn't the crazy Joker'". :)

Don't take that to mean that I find HRC on a level with DJT...I don't...Just like the quote and suspect it does represent many people's feelings.

She is a flawed person/candidate to some...But aren't we all flawed??...I know I certainly am...She leaves Trump in the dust when it comes to intellect and experience...There really have been very few people more qualified for the position than she is...So as I've said before I don't consider her the lesser of two evils, but a well-qualified candidate period...And certainly of the two.

  9. Anyone interested should read the Newsweek article detailing Trump's life and business world. His lies while not as well known are quite extensive and telling...

Here's the link...I'll also put a direct link into this post....Interesting reading...

  10. Part of being an entrepreneur is the willingness to take risks. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained". The fact that Trump had failures during his long career doesn't mean he is a bad business person -- it means he was courageous and willing to try. Many, many businesses fail each year -- but if entrepreneurs stop taking risks because they are afraid they will fail, then America is really doomed. And I laughed when I read the statement that when he went to college he wanted to be a "movie producer" --- my goodness, that was almost 50 years ago! How many of us know what we want to be for certain when we finish high school and head off to college. How many of us say, ".. in 50 years, I think I will run for president -- therefore, I should say I want to be a politician rather than a movie director!" because someone might criticize me for it down the road. This article is so bizarre it isn't even funny -- the guy who wrote it obviously hates Trump. I agree Trump has had some failures --- but he has also had many successes and created many thousands of jobs. People want change --- and they certainly won't get it with Hillary. That's why they are flocking to Trump --- the "hope and change" that Obama promised didn't materialize -- and it won't under Hillary either. Time to give an entrepreneur a chance --- time to take a risk. Nothing ventured -- nothing gained. Go Trump!

    1. No doubt Trump has been successful especially if you measure success in monetary gains. What the article pointed out it is the fact he didn't become rich by his canny business ability as Trump would like you to think.

His father basically bailed him out of many bad business deals and lets face it Trump has become rich by the same system he decries as crooked and the old fashioned way of inheritance...

      Delete
  11. Yes he made some bad business deals when he was younger -- yes his father may have helped bail him out as you say. But his father died in 1999 -- 17 years ago -- and the Trump organization hasn't gone belly up without him. It is not unusual for fathers to help sons -- at least the last time I looked. It's a family business -- what would you expect? With age comes wisdom -- I think Trump has learned a lot from his failures. That's the primary way most of us learn.

  12. Every time you mentioned Trump's name and the word "entrepreneur" together, I puked a little in my mouth. Most of his entrepreneurial ventures have been failures. True entrepreneurs assume all the risks themselves and don't take all of their vendors down with them. He should have just stuck with his dad's real estate ventures and he'd be a wealthier man.

    1. Your comment shows that you don't understand business. When a business fails, it is an unfortunate consequence that vendors may lose as well. Happens all the time. If it didn't, then why would we even have bankruptcy laws. Let's investigate the Clinton Foundation and see what good business acumen the Clintons' have! Can't wait for the FBI to finish that investigation.

  13. Trump doesn't pay his bills... he stiffs contractors. He bails on business partners... People that have business dealings with him usually get a raw deal. Not the way to run a company for the long haul.

  14. And people who rely on Hillary die! And our national security is at risk due to her extreme carelessness. She is a joke and the vast majority of Americans know it and don't trust her at all.

  15. Clinton spends from an unlimited source of your money. Never has had to balance a budget.
Her crowds are small compared to Trump's. This ain't over yet. Everywhere I go, folks say they are voting for Trump.
The election could be decided after the first highly watched debate. It won't be watched because of Clinton. Everyone will be watching because of Trump.
Despite being liberal, I'd vote for Jules any day! She's much smarter and better looking than Clinton!

  16. There truly is a silent majority this time. Everyone I speak to also says they support Trump but most are hesitant to say it publicly because the liberals are so vehement. I think the polls are way off base and Trump will win handily. (and I think the Democrats are afraid of this -- that is why they are attacking Trump so horrendously. They keep throwing all the mud they can dig up -- but unfortunately it isn't sticking!) People are fed up with the Washington elite -- and Hillary is part of it.

    2. No doubt Trump will win Indiana...and handily but we are just a small part of a big picture... People are fed up with Washington... but Trump isn't the answer to that problem he's more divisive than anyone that's ever run...

      Delete
    3. Exactly...We're in Trump country so of course you hear that many people you know say they're supporting Trump...That doesn't bother me, but I do think it skews area people's perception of the race...Indiana is just a small part of a big picture and Clark Co. even less.

      Delete
  17. Also, I KNOW regardless of what some of you are saying that you KNOW DJT is wholly unfit for the office he's seeking...There is no area of the job that he's even remotely ready for...Not one.

I understand supporting your party as I do mine, but I also know that all of you are too smart to really believe this man has any business being President...Whether you will admit it or not.

If either McCain or Romney had won in 2008 or 2012 I wouldn't have been happy because my ideas are so different...But, I also wouldn't have questioned their ability to do the basic job...Or felt unsafe ( I don't think for the most part anyway)...Having policy differences with a candidate or party is one thing...A candidate's total lack of anything resembling readiness for the office is another thing all together.

    1. Sorry Jules, but you just described the Community Organizer. In many people's opinion he had absolutely NO qualifications to be POTUS and he has proven that over these last 8 years. The apologetic President. The one who claimed he would bring everyone together has caused more division than any POTUS in American history. He is solely responsible for all of the race wars and police officer deaths we have had in the past few years. Just stating my opinion.

      Delete
    2. Some did feel that way...But he's more than shown that he was up to the job...I believe he will be very missed when he's gone...And I also believe history will mark him as one of our best Presidents.

( And IF race relations are worse and I'm not convinced they truly are...I'm not denying the incidents that have occurred but I disagree that the President has any responsibility for them...Instead I place the blame almost solely down to a certain segment of the population who didn't want to see an African American elected President in the first place and have spent the past 8yrs stewing in their in their hate and resentment over it...And have milked it for all it's worth without regards to the effect it's had on anyone involved)...Just how I feel too.

      Delete
    3. Totally agree Jules there is a segment of the population that didn't accept Obama because he's black and will never accept a black man as POTUS. Racism is still strong if not stronger here recently, I wouldn't call it a war but resentment and mistrust run deep in segments of both black and white communities...

While Obama hasn't been the great uniter from what I've read the so called experts and historians are pretty favorable toward Obama's presidency as I have been. His approval ratings are high as a retiring two term president and there have been large improvements in the economy that was a mess when he took over.

Uniting parties is impossible in today's political climate, partisanship is stronger than at any time in recent history and when you consider the divide between parties Obama's accomplishments in 8 years are even more remarkable...

      Delete
    4. Total BS. I would have loved to have a Black President (JUST NOT HIM). I would have loved to see Colin Powell, or Condi Rice. It is not a "Black" thing it is a he is an insult to all of those who deserved it way more than the Community Organizer did. He has caused so much damage to this Nation in his 8 years that will take decades to turn things around for the better.

      Delete
    5. Never said it was you...but there is definitely a faction of Americans that never accepted Obama because of race...

      Delete
    6. No doubt there is, but just because people bash him doesn't make them racist. Whenever someone is elected they are always going to have people that don't like them for many reasons, too old, too fat, too skinny, to religious, not religious enough, etc.

  18. If you don't realize this is a scary election for our country, you're not paying attention. I'm not a Hilary Clinton supporter, but know I have to vote for her. Donald Trump's out of control temperament could easily result in actual combat war and bombs in our own cities and towns. You have only to look at Trump's public record to understand he has no conscience, and answers to no God.
