Haspel joined the CIA in 1985. She is a career spymaster with "extensive overseas experience," serving as station chief -- a government official in charge of a post in a foreign country -- during most of her assignments, the CIA wrote in post online.
After decades of service, Haspel was sworn in as the CIA's deputy director
on Feb. 7, 2017, becoming the first woman to hold the position.
"In this position, she assists the D/CIA in managing intelligence collection, analysis, covert action, counterintelligence, and liaison relationships with foreign services," the CIA explained.
2.She ran the CIA's first overseas detention site.
3.She is well respected by former intelligence officials.
4. She has held several top positions in Washington.
In Washington, Haspel has held several top senior leadership positions, including deputy director of the National Clandestine Service and deputy director of the National Clandestine Service for Foreign Intelligence and Covert Action.
5.She has won a handful of prestigious awards
Haspel has received several prestigious awards, including the George H. W. Bush Award for excellence in counterterrorism, the Donovan Award, the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal and the Presidential Rank Award, which recognizes individuals for "exceptional performance over an extended period of time," according to the CIA.

Couldn't agree more with the Pence comment. Looks like a grinning bobble head doll everytime Trump speaks when we all know there is no way in hell he can agree with what his boss does and says. I wish someone in the media would ask him directly about how he feels about Trump's romp with the porn star. Would be interesting to see how he spins his answer so as to not make big daddy trump look bad and protect his faith at the same time.

No, not at all...It was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time and a poorly informed electorate...Topped off with his personal lack of integrity when he accepted the VP spot...He had an undistinguished career as a student, lawyer, congressman, and radio host ( although that was probably his "best" gig in regards to where he is now )...Sometimes good things do happen to good people, but they often also happen to undeserving people too as is this case here...If it were not for the damage his bigotry, pseudo Christianity, and hypocrisy have done to many, he would be an unremarkable person.

ReplyDeleteA Clark County Democrat power broker walks in and is about to order a beer when he sees a guy at the far end of the bar wearing a TRUMP “Make America Great Again” cap with two beers sitting in front of him.
The Clark County Democrat doesn’t need to be an Einstein to know that this guy is a Republican, so he shouts over to the bartender so loudly that everyone can hear, "Drinks for everyone in here, bartender.... but not for the Republican."
Soon after the drinks have been passed out, the Republican gives him a big smile, waves at him then says, "Thank you!" in an equally loud voice.
This infuriates the Clark County Democrat......
After a few minutes, the CC D once again loudly orders drinks for everyone except the Republican. As before, this doesn’t seem to bother the Republican. He nods and smiles, and again yells, "Thank you!"
A few more minutes pass and the CC D orders another round of drinks for everyone except the Republican.
Just as before, this STILL doesn't seem to faze the Republican who continues smiling and again yells out, "Thank you!!"
Frustrated that he can’t seem to get the guy angered, the Faded Glory Clark County Democrat asks the bartender, "What is wrong with that Republican? I’ve ordered three rounds of drinks for everyone in the bar but him, and all the dummy does is smile and thank me. Is he nuts...?"
