Sorry big Guy but HT calls them like he sees them. Your GCF (Goliath's Coliseum Forum) has become a dog and pony show. You've allowed a certain faction to dominate to the point were it is becoming embarrassing not to mention vulgar and crude at times. In his effort to be fair, and provide an uncensored forum the Mighty Warrior seems to be sometimes intimidated by those he has been so kind to and invite into his Coliseum. His constant reminders to be considerate and fair with no personal attacks fall on the deaf ears of many of his guests..... The GAW blog has the been a home for a classy blend of humor, arts and commentary, unfortunately the same class can't be extended to the Coliseum. Don't get me wrong there are good people that enter the Coliseum unfortunately they are over shadowed by a few out spoken to the point of domineering. Score this one a defeat for the mighty Warrior.....
One of the most prolific posters there apparently has a severe, nasty, continuous cough. Might be contagious. Quarantine and disinfectant measures are usually taken in these types of cases for the safety of the general public.

ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that the few you are in favor of posting, has dominated the blogging world for so long, that the new members are taking some of the attention away causing some childish jealousy to go on. For it is apparent that the batblog isn't receiving the attention that you would like, so you then turn your villianist mask toward a blog that is becoming a fun and enjoyable place to be.
I'm sorry HT, but these insecurities and jealousy attributes that you are displaying is very unbecoming of you.

Exactly - and some of those people are so vicious that I do not feel comfortable registering with Goliath's Forum. I know that by doing so, I and my family could be tracked down. Even though Goliath says he has not used Forum registration to track anyone, I've seen him let the less reputable persons virtually run the Forum, and I just don't know what kind of access they may have. So now, I am effectively banned from Goliath's Forum even though I have NEVER said anything untruthful or crude about anyone and have NEVER used vulgar or obscene langauge toward anyone.
ReplyDeleteGuess this newest limitation of particpation on the Goliath Forum is one way to keep anyone from saying anything negative (but truthful), about Tom Galligan's administration. Gives me little reason to continue to check out the Forum when the crazies are running it.

Taking advantage is probably correct, but when you continue to allow people to post their speculations in attempting to "out" others, that's just wrong.
ReplyDeleteI know G can't monitor the forum 24 hours a day, but certain people continue to do this on a regular basis, and YMC was just a little too pushy in trying to get people to register - it seemed a little fishy to me.
