December - Jeffersonville City Council News Letter Parody

As you know the Jeff  City Council was outraged about their lack of publicity in the Jeffersonville City News letter. With that in mind we will publish monthly, a news letter dedicated solely to the Council in order for them to get their just amount of publicity.
Today we present the December issue.....

     JEFFERSONVILLE CITY COUNCIL                   NEWLETTER

December 2012- Holiday Issue
Brought to You by YOUR City Council

Spend 15 Minutes With the Homeless Day

To show that YOUR City Council isn't insensitive to the needs of all residents of Jeffersonville including the homeless. Your City Council sponsored a "Spend 15 minutes With the Homeless Day" Where members spent 15 solid minutes talking and listening to their concerns. Council members while truly concerned,  pointed out to the homeless residents how much better they would be in New Albany, Clarksville, Louisville or even Pekin has a lot to offer. When brought up to the attending council members that they vetoed a zoning request that would have allowed a homeless shelter to be opened in downtown Jeff,  they said they had to go  that their City paid limo was waiting for them for a luncheon meeting at Kye's.....

Cowboy Recognition Day

To recognize "Cowboy" Jeffersonville's most famous resident YOUR City council declared Dec. 2 as "Cowboy Recognition Day" as each member dressed like a Cowboy at the scheduled City Council Meeting.  And encouraged everyone else to do so, and to wear your Cowboy outfit to the next Jeff High basketball game

  3. Who's the snitch? I hate that term but its accurate.
    Farris? Yep, Snitch.
    Conlin? Yep, Snitch.

  4. Can't wait for the council christmas party! They invited the public this year! Yippee! I hear Connie is a hoot buzzed!

Party bonus feature - If they spike the punch, they'll be busted for contributing to Matt's deliquency.

  5. I always assumed Vicki C. was above this type of petty political bullshit. Guess not. Let me go boys, let me go boys, let me go down in the mud. Ode to The Pogues.

  8. Lets watch the attacks G. I like Ms. Conlin too....but everyone is entitled to their opinion

  9. Actually I have never heard anyone politicize anything about Ms. Conlin maybe the Anon. who bashed her would like to let us know what they are referring to...

  10. Do they think HT is Vicki? Very weird comment.

  11. Speaking for myself, I most definitely do not think that the referred to "Anonymous" is HT!!

  12. Taken from the O Lounge:
I have since received from a city official a copy of an e-mail in which Williamson admitted Branham’s work on ProMedia’s City of Jeffersonville account.

The city official the O is referring to is Vicki Conlin. That's political bullshit IMO. Ask Ms. Conlin. I'm sure a good Christian would not lie about it.

  13. Do you have proof of that Anon. or is that merely a rumor ???

If you have proof and want to keep it private send it to me and if you don't want it made public I will not publish it ....

  14. I have the email between VC and ProMedia where she ask if AHB worked on the newsletter. Can't be sure she shared it with the O, but she shared it with someone who shared it with the O. FACT.

  15. Furthermore, VC's fishing email to ProMedia was done via her City of Jeff email. Not sure if Indiana Code lists such endeavors as official City Clerk duties. Perhaps Matt Owen's FOI never came to light for reasons such as this.

  16. Calling Vicki Conlin a "snitch" is bullshit. She is a straight forward, 'tell it like it she sees it', gal. She doesn't play games. No need to go behind her back to question her actions or words. Take your questions straight to Vicki.

  17. dun dun dun...

Why would the city clerk care who works at Pro-Media?

And why does Goliath think Ms Conlin is so off limits? Is she not a public official?

  18. Sorry CW, the proof is out. Everything you've read here is true. She's feeding the beast and playing games. I like her too and am very surprised by this. Family has a weird way of perverting people. Blame the O lounge and his ilk for drawing her in. ProM could very likely have a defamation suit against Ms. C. if they choose. Sad.

  19. The Anon. poster has sent me a copy of the e-mail in question. It seems to be legit; of course I am not document a examiner but I'm going to say it is authentic...

I have no idea who the poster is but i must say they seem credible. What light this puts Ms. Conlin in is up to every individual to decide...

More on this Monday as I am out of town and posting on this phone is near impossible ..sorry if there are any typos. ..

  20. PS the poster has asked me not to reproduce the email and I will abide to his/her request...but I have seen it and appears very legitimate. ..
