I guess what yesterday's Election showed more than anything is just how little most people care about politics especially local Politics and elections.Only around 18% of registered voters bothered to vote in election with some supposedly volatile issues and concerns.While there were no national or state races on the ballot there seemed to enough important issues on the table to warrant a better turnout for yesterday's primary. Until the public becomes better educated and better informed and develops an interest. We can expect to continue to get the poor leadership and waste of our tax dollars that we have now.

ReplyDeleteI am disappointed at the low voter turn out. No matter who you support, get out and vote! This is an issue I think all candidates can agree on. We all need to try to convince our family, friends and co-workers to exercise their right to vote.
