La Grange Ky. police made a major bust of a sophisticated, big drug operation. Here's a link to the story in the Courier Journal Drug bust. Confiscated were plants valued at more than $74,000.

Come on man ! This dude was growing a little pot in his back yard, look at the pics does this constitute a major story in the CJ. And $74, 000 what were the cops smoking to think this is worth 74 grand and a major bust  on their part. Hell there ain't enough weed there for this dude and his buddies on a Saturday night, he's moving the plants in his little boy's wagon for gosh sakes.

Clark Co. Politics, Lawyers and Politicians..... No Wonder We're Broke

   Ever wonder why Clark Co. is nearly broke ???  Another example of why is in Monday's News and Tribune Story. Seems like one office of Clark Co. government is suing another office AGAIN. Yep, this is twice in less than a year. Earlier the Sheriff's Dept. sued the County Council for more money. This time it's the County Commissioners suing the Co. Auditor's office. Hey dudes, every time Co. attorney Fifer puts a choke hold on another office it's costing us taxpayers more money. Money the County doesn't have. Earth to  Politicians " lawyers don't work cheap" and this litigation could be tied up for months...

 In the comments section of the N&T article Fred really nailed it he wrote ........This is another example of the County Commissioners trying to show their muscles with county employees. Monty did what he was supposed to do and checked with State Officials on the law and regulations. Instead of working with each other the Commissioners decide to Sue instead. This is a great example of team work guys! I think the Commissioners are still upset over Monty and the Sheriff working together to buy new cars with no cost to the Taxpayers! Shame on you Monty and Danny, trying to save us money!! 

In less than 2 months two of these clowns are up for re-election. It is time to get them out of there and put some new blood into this County. How much longer do we have to put up with this nonsense? Hopefully not to much longer. Hey Monty want to have some, have your Lawyer do a Change of Venue so its out of Clark County!!

  Mr Ed's ( the Oracle) other piece this week was on apologies supposedly owed to Matt Owen and the residents of Jeffersonville. Minor issues like the taking down the Galligan sign (like somebody really gives a
 F  - - -) and nosing out Owen for the GOP mayoral race (should have manned up Matt if you really wanted to run.)

  Once again the Orifice has planted his hoof firmly in his mouth, or shall I say firmly planted his head up his Ass (just like his head is up his Ex- Boss' Ass.) If Galligan would start apologizing now it will take him until the end of MM's second term to finish.

How about an apology for illegally firing the sewer operations manager resulting in the lawsuit that cost the taxpayers nearly a million dollars....

How about an apology for destroying Vissing Park without notifying  neighbors who reside near the park or obtaining the proper permits or even obtaining authorization from the Parks Authority.....

How about an apology for trebling sewer bills on the premise we had to have a canal.....

How about an apology for calling out the JPD for photographing your drunk City attorney in a garbage can....

How about an apology for annexing all the people who wanted no part of living in Jeffersonville all in a money grab....


Finally how about an apology for doing absolutely nothing to improve the Jeffersonville downtown or anywhere for that matter in your 12 years as mayor......

The list could go on and on you get the idea.....The Oracle has obviously spent too much time in his stall to actually know anything about what goes on in Jeff ,other than what the ones who pull his strings tell him.

Come on Orifice be your own horse, try and make or have an original thought on your own....

No post on the Oracle today, attended the Purdue vs. Notre Dame football game and couldn't stomach writing about Jeff politics 2 days in a row. Great game N.D. won on last second FG. great atmosphere.

This weeks rambling from the horse's ass (the Oracle/Orifice) include  pieces on "Trust "and "advice to Matt Owen". The Orifice err Oracle would have you believe Mayor Mike should have trust in the City council who passed a resolution requiring council approval of capital purchases of more than $5000.00 that the mayor vetoed.

  Come on Oracle, is speaking out of the wrong end of Trigger clouded your vision. This the same Council that passes around personal e-mails like little school girls passing notes in class. Telling on Mayor Mike and then squealing with delight like they got away with something. And now he's supposed to trust them....

  This is the same Council that rubber stamped every dime Galligan foolishly spent like a drunken sailor. Especially last year on every Campaign ploy in Galligan's desperate attempt for re-election. Like the "Blue Goose" riverstage, basically a pile of scrap metal, "Galligan's Ditch" the canal, the destruction of Vissing Park, the" Jungle" that is a supposed landscaping project on Hwy. 62, all essentially tax dollars thrown in the manure pile by the same basic Council. Now all of a sudden they're fiscal conservatives. And now MM is supposed to trust them....

  Come on Orifice either your old Boss still has a tight hold on your reins or all those days being ridden like a mule has broke you down. Try breaking free and talk out of the right end of the horse, like Mr. Ed....
