  1. I'll have a story soon. One about an attempt to disenfranchise voters and stick it to the little guys. It is also one about hilarious but flattering fear. Will send details your way as soon as I have them. That I don't yet have those details is also so much bullshit. Stay tuned. And vigilant. Always vigilant.

  3. "Plant Dipping"....
    $1,000,000 for 10th Street plants....
#3,000,000 to $6,000,000 for "Soccer Dipping"......
What happened top the $147,000 an acre proposed 11 acre purchase by the Parks Authority and the current city council that went quietly under the radar?
    Thank you.
The H=T'S WAY COOL BAR BLOG IS FOREVER VIGLILENT. Hmmmm....

  4. 007 Update
The "Really Not Super" STOOGE PUPPET attacked the way cool S-R about the questionable soccer $3,000,000 to $6,000,000 scam.
A very dangerous location to add 600
parking spots between two railroad tracks.
The not super stooge said it was alarmist. Not so. The S-R was accurate and Mayor Moore was correct.
    Game. Set. Match.

  5. Oddly enough, when my father played softball in the same area around the same tracks, and we would go play while the game was going on, none of us got hurt Salvoe.

  6. I wonder if HT would be interested in a story about an attorney that disregarded his ethical duty to start dating a woman and now works for one of our local governments.

  7. Nope not interested , the BatBlog is not interested in personal relationships we only deal with the political issues....

  8. H-T nailed it.
Political Issue reported by the Award Winning Bat Blog:
$147,000 an acre for 11 acres in a very difficult place to access
and subsequently park in a potentially extremely unsafe lot.
Additionally, numerous dangerous active railroads abound the site
and other very busy tracks must be crossed to access the multi-million soccer boondoggle" spot.
Uh... that is 11 times $147,000 per acre for a total off $1,617,000
"Coin of the Realm" usurped from the taxpayer if the media reports were true.
It Doth Appear that at least on a temporary basis they came to their senses and listened to the Mayor(s).
Actually, Mayors Galligan and Moore BOTH agreed that wasting tremendous amounts of money at that site was a huge error in judgement.
Looks like the residents of Jeffersonville got ripped off for both
"Plant Dipping" and millions on "Soccer Dipping."
At least the planned expansion of the 'Soccer Money Pit' has been slowed.

  9. How about the possibility of having 3 Libertarians on the Clarksville Town Council and the fear that puts in the heart of the establishment, and one judge?

  10. Look dude if you want to e-mail or post in the comments section what you're talking about fine. I'll decide if it has merit as to effecting the taxpayers and voters ...ethical or non ethical or whatever.

You are throwing out a generalization about someone dating someone else, very vague and I have no idea who you are talking about...Generally I don't dwell into personal lives, and only what's on public records.... but if you feel this deserves attention shoot me a line and I'll look at it but this isn't a gossip forum.

  11. 'Supreme El Grande El Magnifico Council' antics.

Bravo to those who exposed the council scandals.
Additionally, Parks Authority usurpation problems by the council are continuing.
Serious JEERS to the 'Supreme El Grande El Magnifico Council'
that "shall not be questioned by the plebeians".....
SHAME on the council for not listening to Mayor Moore OR Mayor Galligan
    on the multi-million soccer site.

  12. H-T, ignore the weak anonymous obfuscation about someone dating someone.
    Love is important !

Your fine, award winning journalism exposing the antics of the council
is running rings around all of the other media sites and organizations.
    Dude, keep it up!

  13. Thanks CV yes the public clamor about the (2) recent boondoggles 1.) the over priced , poorly located, unsafe and unwanted soccer complex and 2.) the poorly designed , poorly installed, overgrown mess of a landscaping job has this bonehead council reeling and scrambling for answers for a demanding and vigilant group of citizens and taxpayers...

The "Award Winning " BatBlog is one tool to keep these blockheads on the council accountable it's a shame the public voice couldn't save The Jeffersonville City Court that served this community so proudly and efficently for over 50 years....another stupid move that the idiots on the council eliminated, on another political whim....

    Remain Vigilant!!!

  14. The Regional Cities Initiative slide show mentions the sports complex. The question is, will it be in Clarksville or Jeffersonville? Will the two municipalities suddenly yet willingly cooperate because they put an appointed board in charge? So ridiculous they need a boss to do that.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Anon. I thought that was a little strange also. You just mentioned dating. That quite the leap to "love". I believe I know the story you are talking about, and while I don't think it's that big of a deal, it was a highly questionable circumvention of the ethical rules lawyers are supposed to adhere to.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I have no idea what that person is talking about, whether it's true or not, and if it is important or not. But for you to dismiss it after all the innuendo you write and allow about politicians you don't like, I find that somewhat hip a critical.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Look dude(s) or dudette(s) how can I dismiss something that I have no clue what he or she is even talking about... I'm calling bullshit on the whole thing because they have as of yet haven't said anything but some vague reference...

Send me details and I will comment on it if I've heard anything or it's worth looking into.

As far as innuendo name me one time I have commented on anyone's personal life ??? and believe me I've been around long enough and know enough people to fill this blog with personal skeletons in some higher up's closets...

Put up or shut up...I'm calling bullshit and their bluff....

  18. Another thing it's not about "politicians you don't like" it's about being competent and intelligent enough to be a true public servant and being able to serve your constituency.

I know some politicians and I don't dislike any of them personally but too many are in it to blow their own horns and try to feel important a big problem here in Jeff....

  21. It Doth Appear that the 10th Street way expensive plant boondoggle is about to be a segment n of the show "Ax men"...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yep. I'm trying to pin down exactly who was responsible for that mess.
Someone on CCC knows but he isn't telling. I think I know. ;)
I'll go through the city records tomorrow. If it's there I'll find it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. ...."exactly who was responsible for that mess"....

    Hit the easy button!
The responsibility lies with its creation in 2011
and the additional high YEARLY maintenance funding COSTS
dolled out by the council at a very high price to the taxpayers.
It was in the eyes of many a very expensive "Plant Dipping Boondoggle"
to begin and then subsequently maintain year after year after year.
The initial cost was way too much and the mayor wisely
decided that the high maintenance COST going forward
over the NEXT 20 years would CONTINUE
    to be very EXCESSIVE.
It was a real jungle of a cost to purchase,
a jungle of reoccurring costs to maintain,
    and needed to go.
    Good move.
Plant grass and keep the trees that are not blocking traffic views.
The city learned an expensive lesson from a 2011 bad decision
that is now going to corrected by Mayor Moore
    who inherited the mess.
It is a good idea to remove the continuous, recurring high cost problem.

  25. Jeffersonville Mayor's Office
    https://www.facebook.com/JeffersonvilleMayorsOffice?fref=nf

After careful consideration, Mayor Mike Moore is directing city employees to remove the landscaping in the 10th street medians that was completed under the prior administration. Mayor Moore cited public safety concerns and continued maintenance expense as the reasons for the decision. The trees will remain in the median but all vegetation and mulch will be replaced with grass.

Mayor Moore called the project a "financial boondoggle" from the start and it's become "an eyesore" that the city shouldn't continue to fund. Mayor Moore noted it was a "poorly planned" project that has cost taxpayers enough.
The plants will be offered to local non-profits to be transplanted.

  26. RF If you find out any information please share it with the "Award Winning" BatBlog

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'll try. No luck so far. The search on the records site isn't great.

"The trees will remain in the median ..."
... 'till they get some growth on them and we have a good wind storm.
I can't say for sure but they look like Bradfords or some other cultivar.

  28. Nope ... I've been shut out.

"The system has encountered an error and could not complete your request.

  29. Thanks for the effort RF the BatBlog has a good idea who was responsible and I think it's pretty obvious if one thinks about it....and yes if those are Bradford pear trees they will be laying across 62 in a couple of years...pretty shaped tree but they aren't much in high winds...

    1. HT please go and read CCC so you get the entire story, better yet call Hutt and get all the facts. I Laugh when you call others a Dumba**

      Delete
  30. Yep. Same here. Hutt keeps dancing around the direct question.

Got back into the city documents.
The Redevelopment‎ meeting minutes for 2010 & 2011 are conveniently missing.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If you rely on Hutt for facts you're dumber than a rock...Hutt kisses all these politician's asses and has his head stuck halfway up their asses trying to get a position. When they have nothing for him or fire him he turns on them like he's done the last two mayors.

He's flipped flopped on every issue and just about every politician in town depending on who ditched him last. He trashed this practically same city council under Galligan, now they are great.

There's a reason they call him NHBSM (Not Honest Mike)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Dumbass Hutt has preached all along that the medians should be planted in grass and the landscaping should go. Now that Moore is doing just that, Hutt is still trashing him on the Chatter for not maintaining it. What phony hypocrite!

    ReplyDelete
  33. ... but if you push hard enough he will crack.

  34. The exposure of the entire matter with the "Plant Dipping" scandal will get hot according to some stories out there. The attack on the city court, the expensive soccer gig, and the 10th Street "Plant Dipping" will be very interesting.
    Obfuscation won't work.
It could be a sordid tale...
