HT on the 2016 GOP Presidential Race...

I hate to admit it but I've been mesmerized with the GOP presidential debates. It's must see TV...
Trump love him or hate him is entertaining as hell !!!  Candidates before Trump have always mostly played nice saying that's "not true" when disagreeing. Trump on the other hand gets right to the chase and calls them "Liars"...I love it, and now he's got them all doing it....Saturday night's debate was a battle royale ....great theater. Trump the other night repeated what a supporter yelled out "Cruz is a pussy."  You gotta love it....

Thoughts on the other candidates...Ted Cruz has that whiny ass voice, looks like a geek and appears phony as hell to me...

Marco Rubio is wooden, mechanical ...everything sounds like a memorized speech, would make a good Baptist preacher...He wins the swimsuit competition with Mrs. HT though...

Jeb Bush...George W. has probably killed any chance for Jeb to win...Actually appears like a sensible alternative to the others , that I could possibly vote for...

John Kasich ...Here is another common sense candidate like Jeb Bush that I like and could vote for, but he doesn't seem to be catching on...

Chris Christie ...Never caught on either he looks like your local plumber and he's out....but did make Rubio look like an idiot in earlier debate...

Ben Carson...What the hell is he still doing in the race...too intelligent and nice of a guy to be a politician...

The national Republican party just can't figure out who they are, You have the real conservative, tea partiers and the Evangelical faction. The middle of the road traditional types like Bush and Kasich that the GOP hasn't been able to win with, And of course you have the loose cannon non traditional Donald Trump, that a big faction has fell in love with....Stay tuned it will be interesting

  1. Their problem is that they continue to promote extremists, and none of those whack jobs will get my vote.

Would have been just fine voting for Bush or Christie.

  2. Same here Anon., problem is Republicans nationally can't compromise on a candidate that is good for the party, every faction has their niche candidate. Evangelicals- Cruz...extreme conservative -Rubio...Everybody that's fed up - Trump...Bush, Kasich and Christie the common sense candidates split their votes...

Locally Democrats have just jumped ship to be on winning side...Galligan and Perkins have buried Democtratic chances to be relevant...

  3. As bad as the Republicans are, I can't vote for Either Democrat. One is a thief, liar, the other is an old socialist hippie.

  4. yeah, that republican debate...
it's hard to see how all of the factions in the republican party will ever be able to rally around a single one of these guys.

It's what people want. That's what they give 'em.
