Reports have Clarksville officials in secret meeting to negotiate a cease fire. After learning of HT's 6 point plan which included carpet bombing Theater X ,they have massed police and all available personnel to protect their famed, prized shrine and symbol of their town.
More than likely hostilities will come to end shortly and Court Ave. will be opened and returned to the City of Jeffersonville. Meanwhile Evangelical's have massed in support and encouragement for HT and the BatBlog's plan to reduce Theater X to rubble....
Stay tuned for further updates....
LOL TheatairX has sure stood the test of time it's probably the oldest continuing business in this area.
ReplyDeleteBat Blog Alert
ReplyDeleteThe latest is that the famous 3,000 year old warrior Goliath,
veteran of many centuries of hostilities,
is working on some selfies to show the process of the War!
Do those Bible thumpers know they is throwin in with a dad blast prevaricator? Otherwise known as "Lyin HT"
ReplyDeleteGoliath notice the barricades was moved back about fitty feet but are still standing
tall despite HT's feeble efforts.... SMH (cautiously)
Negotiations are pretentious at this time... we are working on a 24 hour cease fire to work out details.
ReplyDeleteWarning to Clarksville if those barricades across Court DON"T come down !!!
Theater X WILL come down !!!
Goliath those barricades were moved back 50 ft. as part of preliminary talks...if Clarksville knows what's good for them they will come completely down in a negotiated time.
Please DO NOT interfere leave these negotiations and any resumption of military actions to us professionals...
Too late HT....a splinter faction of a breakaway group of the Clarksville Forces is already pleading with Goliath to enter this matter .... or as they put it "somebody who knows what time it is" to get involved. Ht and the batblog did not fare well in their comments.
ReplyDeleteHt and G's version of this is a lot more interesting than the real event. Much ado about nothing, Moore over reacted and has blown this way out of proportion.
ReplyDelete...."a splinter faction of a breakaway group".....
ReplyDeleteHeh...heh...heh...
;) :)
Yes, the Goliath and HT are both operating
some smooth undercover military ops
in the Clark County Political Wars.
Threatening to pull down the iconic Clarksville bid-ness,
'The Theatre X Cultural Center for Clarksville',
was a slick move by HT. If the Offendin' Border Wall is not torn down,
the Theatre X will be demolished! Clarksville will take that seriously!
I'm curious how many on here are aware Kye's is losing the 100 parking spots close to her front entrance? Clarksville has moved her new shared parking to the back of the complex more then 300 feet away.
ReplyDeleteThey're Not her parking spaces.
DeleteSomething doesn't sound right how could C'Ville take away Kye's parking spaces?
ReplyDeleteDoes she own the property? She would have a great civil lawsuit if C'Ville is taking her property in order for road construction without acquiring it through eminent domain or purchasing it. How does she feel about what is going on?
This stuff is hilarious HT and Goliath you have outdone yourselves on this one.
ReplyDeleteI'm with the other anonymous this doesn't sound right. I heard and not sure how true Kye's son sold his part of adjoining properties to Clarksville. Which just so happens to be part of Kye's parking lot. If true that would make Clarksville well within their rights.
ReplyDeleteIn the newspaper Kye's son said he had no problem with what Clarksville is doing and was fine with the way it happened. It is beginning to sound like a Hoehn's (kye and son) problem instead of Clarksville and Jeff problem.
I'll bet Clarksville really wishes they had my signature on that Interlocal Agreement right now. Serious accounting problems with the State will soon follow.
ReplyDeleteTake your ball and go home. Petty little man
DeleteI have no idea who own's what property, but I have heard the rumor about the Hoehn's. I do think Mayor Mike does stand on some pretty good legal ground though. IMO no matter what... before any work was started by Clarksville Mayor Mike had to OK it by signing the Interlocal Agreement. He didn't sign it and again IMO has every legal right to stop the project until an agreement can be worked out suitable to both parties (Clarksville and Jeff) and signed by the mayor.
ReplyDeleteI noticed on tonight's news that 2 city councilpersons (Gill and Samuel) thought everything had been worked out with Cville but it's not their place to give it the final go ahead. Mike M. has to sign the agreement and he didn't...
Goliath and I are having a little fun with this... but legal papers are drawn up for a reason and it appears Clarksville dropped the ball on their end and Mayor Mike is well within his rights...hopefully some agreement can be reached instead of a drawn out court fight....
I don't think you will find much sympathy in Jeff over Kye Hoehn losing parking spaces.

DeleteThe agreement rumored to have been drawn up a long time ago,
ReplyDeleteaccording to "a source close to the controversy",
allegedly was that Kye was to have 75 parking spots for her business
on the side of the where the new road is being mysteriously created.
The agreement may or may not have been soundly enough drawn up
and it now appears to be "subject to interpretation".
Kye is reportedly NOT happy with the change
and the problems created.
The parking spots may still be provided,
but they will be potentially in a very potentially
"allegedly inconvenient location"
for the elderly, families with small children,
those with difficulties, and other guests attending functions.
The family part of the war is disturbing.
Clarksville's political power brokers
forked out a nice $1,200,000
for the ground for the short road,
which may be in terrible location.
The other Pol War
noted by journalistic bro-skis HT and Goliath
looks like the Town of Clarksville
could have some serious difficulties.
It is definitely cool to watch!
This primary election season has been soooooo bone numbingly dull,
it is refreshing to see some blood back into the water
in the Clark County political game!
Goliath and Hoosier Taxpayer are enjoying the fun hostilities.
I think you WILL find a lot of sympathy in Jeff for Kye Hoehn losing parking spaces.

ReplyDeleteTrackRat was right it was late and I had a lapse in judgement about a personal post. I apologize and have deleted it and TrackRat's reference to it....
ReplyDeleteSounds like Moore is fighting battles for a private business. Why is a city obligated to provide parking for a private business?
ReplyDeleteCan't say I have much sympathy for Hoehn either, let her son sell the land then expects the city to provide her parking spots to her liking.
ReplyDeleteImagine a neighbor who always says yes. One who doesn't wait to be asked to support our police, our fire department, a child in need, a school needing funds to support hungry students, a homeless shelter needing blankets to warm the less fortunate....that's the neighbor we have with Kye. If there were ever a time to stand up and support one of our own, it's now. Thank you Kye, Herbie and all the employees for being one of the most giving, humble community minded neighbors Jeffersonville has ever had.
ReplyDeleteWell said Mayor Moore.
