The rumored negotiations between County Officials and Destiny Hoffman (drug Court defendant) and representatives negotiating a compensation package in lieu of a civil suit, have rumored to have come to a standstill. It is rumored one stipulation to any package by Ms. Hoffman was that Judge Jacobi and the whole drug court staff be required to " pee in a F---ing cup once a week " pass a drug test and be harassed like she was. ReplyDeleteMs. Hoffman needs to continue this in federal court. Otherwise it will be settled out of court and covered up. The court will report that changes have been made and all is well. The abuse in drug court is directly the result of the Judge, his director and her sumo enforcer. The remaining probation staff is top notch. They had nothing to do with the alleged abuses which occurred. They are dedicated professionals who work hard and sincerely care about the people they serve. Hopefully they will have a leader who will allow them to do the job which they are fully capable of performing.
