Moving Forward

 
Wow over 1000 page views in the last couple of days surrounding the Danny Rodden arrest. Thanks everyone for your comments and stopping by, they are all appreciated. I only had to keep from publishing a couple of comments that were way over the top. Even though I hate censorship and this is a blog I try and maintain respectfulness especially out of respect for Mr. Rodden's family.

 This was a very publicized, big news story that has brought attention to Clark Co. from all over the country. In the past I have brought up issues within the Clark Co. sheriff's  dept.and the county jail that have been related to the BatBlog by sources close to the matter. These issues are serious matters that need to be brought forward that haven't been touched on by the media. In the next couple of days the BatBlog is working on a story that will re focus on this and other issues.

    If you mean am I buying into the ridiculous "political" conspiracy ....no.

    The apologists are clutching at straws trying to minimize Rodden's embarrassing actions...

    What do they expect Hogsett to do when he became aware of this ...just ignore it...hell that's what they do in here Clark Co.... maybe other prosecutors out in the state actually prosecute office holders and officials unlike Clark Co.

    a crime wasn't committed ???

    the feds should have just looked the other way when a sheriff is giving special privileges to a known criminal ???

    Rodden wasn't lying ???

    You'll have to explain yourself better than saying I'm wrong...

    Does anyone really think the Feds could have convened a grad jury in neighboring Floyd Co, indicted our sheriff and the news not get leaked out before the warrant could be issued? And as for him being handcuffed and shacked, that's what they do when they take criminals to court. Watch all the film of the other Clark Co. Inmates going to court. I,don't hear anyone crying over them being handcuffed and shackled. Act like a criminal and you get treated like one. Rodden got caught and now he had to pay the price just like anyone else.
