Even with the Dem. bias four GOP candidates are looking strong Jeremy Mull- prosecutor, Zach Payne -recorder, Bryan Glover- commissioner, Brad Jacobs- judge..
The Dem.'s have a couple of shoo ins with Joe Weber -judge and Susan Popp- Clerk and the polls reflect that quite accurately I believe...
I think the poll shows it's most Dem. bias in the Auditor's race where I think Perry McCall should and will win but not the margin the polls show...
I think the poll is pretty accurate with the closeness of the sheriff's race....I think the sheriff's race will be a dog fight with Brian Meyer being hurt by the recent Danny Rodden affair...I think Noel or Spainhour either one could win ...Finally I hope the poll in Assessor's race is wrong Kent-Haire has a lot of experience as a public figure but Martina "Tina" Webster has the qualifications, training and energy to be a great County Assessor...she is young and determined but does have her work cut out for her against the long time name in Clark Co. politics..
Interesting results thanks Goliath for putting up the poll and results....The BatBlog will have it's own Poll (which has been pretty accurate in the past) as we get closer to election time ....Be Sure To Vote....
Thanks for the notice HT. Yes I imagine there is some Dem bias in the poll. On the other hand, as noted, the strength shown by Repub candidates in some races and the obvious differences in races suggest people took time to pick and choose and so I think it's pretty dad blast accurate.
ReplyDeleteOne thing, I think in the prosecutor's race Bob still has the chance to move the numbers whereas I think Jeremy is about as good as he is going to get. So, the question there is can Bob close the gap or not. INteresting.
BTW Goliath thinking abouat filing a litigation on the Bat Blog for posting that photo shop of Goliath embraced with NSHBM ...that is scandalous!!!
ReplyDeleteTina is going to lose & we'll all be better for it.
ReplyDeleteThe poll looks pretty much on target.
ReplyDeleteNope Anon. Tina will make a fine Assessor, she has all the qualifications and dedication required in my honest opinion...
ReplyDeleteG. the BatBlog only prints legitimate news pictures no photoshopping here... If you're depicted with your arm around NH Mike it really happened....
ReplyDeleteFirst of all we have a great assessor.
ReplyDeleteSecond, i want somebody who wants to do the job. Not use it as a megaphone to yell about tifs.
Too funny that people think that if I lose my first political race I will go away or that the loss will cause me to stop educating people about the big issues Clark County faces! Ha!
ReplyDeleteTina will do a great job. Customer service will improve in the assessor's office. We'll all be better informed. She'll be a watchdog over the taxing entities on behalf of those who pay property taxes.
ReplyDeleteTina hasn't attacked the incumbent. She's only said what she would do and already worked to help taxpayers. I'm disappointed in the incumbent's supporters for being so negative.
