Clark County Commissioner Dist.2 Candidate

Clark Co. Democrats as of yet have no candidate for the important Co. Commissioners race in November's general election. Certainly this important position won't go unfilled and uncontested. The Democratic caucus can fill this position and going from past experiences this just might be our candidate....Guess who ???  <<<CLICK HERE>>>

  1. Lmao! Only if they're trying to throw it.

The Libertarian Party would love to field a candidate in this race. If you live in District 2 and love liberty, hollar.

  2. Does he even reside in that district? Would he be able to run?

  3. 'Reside' is a relative term for the politically connected in Clark County.

  4. I am sure he will find a new "girlfriend" who just happens to live in District 2. No wonder Clark County has such a bad reputation. We have an overabundance of "crooks"

  5. Galligan won't run anyone against Coffman. They have a deal, Jack and Connie will vote to reappoint TG as Airport authority president and Coffman runs in the fall unopposed.

Naw.... that is just wrong. Clark County has healthy competitive politics.

Anonymous and the Award Winning Bat Blog
    have really good insider intel....
    Jack is doing a personally
most excellent CYA, but there are some
that feel he should have just had
a token opposition D candidate like the 1st District,
crushed them with the 2016 R sweep, and avoided the internal drama.....

The Bat Blog has pretty good info...
How did Tom Galligan get so crafty....?

  8. Galligan couldn't plan a picnic...

  9. I don't know if Anon. knows what he /she is talking about, but if true it's not "crafty" it's called dirty politics ... kind of like like hiring a convicted felon to solicit your absentee ballots for you...

  10. Brian Meyer is a name I've heard mentioned.

  11. Meyer is in the right district

If Galligan is now outsmarting the R's
and is making these "crafty" moves, does that mean
that he is now also a RINO himself.....?

So, the story line is that Democrat Chairman TG
    slickly/intentionally placed a weak candidate
in the District 1 D primary commissioner race,
then organized the insertion of CS into
    the R primary commissioner race,
then is not entering a D candidate
into the District 2 commissioner race
    for the general election
so the R does not have
    any opposition?

    Hmmmm....

Or is "the third chess move
in the current political story line" that bro TG,
as his third "crafty" step is putting "Perennial JP"
into the D slot for the 2nd District Commissioner,
ensuring that the incumbent R commissioner is an easy winner....?
    Options. Fun. Chess.

  15. Galligan and "crafty" is an oxymoron

    "Tepid" had The GSL going....
"Crafty" has The H-T (of the Award Winning Bat Blog ) going....
Bro TG may have his best move since taking the Chair...
But, no D benefits by getting elected...
    Just the air board thingy...
    Is TG showing some spunk...?

  19. Glad the crazy conspiracy theories aren't just targeted at Republicans. Sometimes it's just hard to get someone to run when they know they are going to lose. The cost in money and personal reputation is expensive. Dems won't have a comeback until the midterms of an unpopular Republican presidency and an internal party overhaul. Even then it will be tough. A whole batch of Prospect Republicans will be moving in when the east end bridge opens up.
