The Great Debate !!!

Well Round 1 clearly goes to Hillary Clinton in the much anticipated 2016 presidential debates. She absolutely cleaned "The Donald's" clock in last night's opening session. Looking relaxed, prepared and ready to take on any of Trump's slurs and insults, Clinton got the best of him in the opinion of most of the pundits and The BatBlog.

Trump was surly and nervous and took the bait every time Clinton tossed out one Donald's indiscretions and lies. Rambling on in various directions he avoid directly answering most of the moderators and Ms. Clinton's questions.  His biggest comeback was "wrong" which he must have muttered a dozen times. Clearly Trump came off as un-presidential and not ready for the big stage with an intelligent woman like Hillary Clinton .Clinton kept her cool while under attack and patiently let Trump rattle on and on, where at times he was completely went off subject and struggled to defend himself.

The Trump camp realizing the loss quickly blamed the moderator, the microphone and the questions asked. Which is a clear sign of the perception by the masses of a poor showing.

This was just Round 1 so the Donald has time to improve in the next two sessions. Look for him to do what he normally does when desperate,...revert to name calling and cheap personal shots. Insults that will ultimately could hurt him more. He has to look presidential to the American public something I'm not sure is possible...

  1. Hillary was much more prepared and her performance showed it.

  4. Certainly could NEVER vote for someone who lies like Hillary -- and destroys evidence -- and puts our national security at risk. She is a disgrace and I will take my chances with Trump. Tired of the "establishment" Tired of Obama. Let's give a non-politician a chance. We survived 8 years of Obama -- even though he doubled the national debt ---- I am sure we can survive 4 years of Trump. Far better choice than Hilliary.

    Way cool. Trump wins!
29 of 32 of the 'Main Street Media' polls
showed Donald J. trump as the clear winner!
    The public's opinion counts.
There are a lot of sad 'Clown Faces' with the "Inside the DC Beltway Crowd" !

    Enjoying it!

  9. Trump knew this was his best shot to make his case to millions ( that perhaps are only starting to pay attention now ), but he was too lazy and disinterested in the process to prepare...And it showed...Over and over and over again...The fact that a person who wants to be President of the United States doesn't even have the attention span to prep for something like this should be alarming to even those that support him...If he didn't care enough to represent himself well on one of the biggest nights of his life, how can anyone have the expectation he'd do any more when representing this country. ( And this is just one of MANY examples of why this man is unfit and unworthy)...My 18yr old could discuss foreign and domestic affairs better...I'll bet my house on it.

First HRC gave him the rope to hang himself ( which he did quite well ) and then in the end she chewed him up and spit him out.

While I would have never voted for McCain or Romney, I didn't think of them as bad men...This was just not about a bad performance...This is about a vile bad man...I can find no redeeming quality about him...Either intellectually or as a person...He's empty, shallow, with no intellectual curiosity and no interest in changing any of that.

And as to his "extraordinary" business skills...He'd be richer if he'd invested the money his father left him in a simple CD!!...Truth...He's lost money...It's just that he's got so much to lose it doesn't matter.

    1. Jules is pretty right on in her analysis of the debate and Trump. The scary thing is he'e still not that far away that he couldn't still be elected...

  10. The people watched the debate in record numbers
and the pollsters then went to work.

Donald J. Trump won by large margins with the people.
    The pollsters were stumped.

The power elites, liberals and haters, and media controllers
are, of course, just sooo shocked.

The Donald said that he went easy on her.

There are record turnouts predicted for the General Election
and change is on the way!

    Enjoy!

    1. I wouldn't say there's such a thing as a smart Trump supporter, but at least most are admitting he got trounced.

    2. Yeah the only polls that say Trump won the debate are the unscientific polls where you vote online. Trump supporters swamped these stuffing the ballot box...

Even Trump's own staff much to his chagrin are saying he lost...and the betting odds which many believe is a true indicator of the race, have Hillary sharply rising to in some cases 70% chance of her winning the presidency...

  11. This is beginning
to look similar the great election
    from 1980 when Ronald Reagan
    won his first term
    and soundly defeated Jimmy Carter.

Donald J. Trump will be even greater than President Ronald W. Reagan.

This the next wave of the Reagan Revolution.

    Make America Great Again!

    Enjoy!

don' think the Donald'll EVER be the man Reagan was......but let's hope so on'a other aspect o' yer post.....

    Cain't believe.....at 'is's the best 'is Country's got ta offer.....sad shizz.....

  13. I agree with Dude...Trump wouldn't make a pimple on Reagan's Ass...This has been the craziest election cycle in history ...two of the most reviled candidates in history on the same ballot...I still can't believe John Kasich didn't catch on...

  15. It looks like that Hillary is an easy winner and the policies of the eight years of the Obama Administration will continued and built upon.

  16. Hillary has had 30 years of government involvement and it has all been terrible.
    Mr. Trump will save America.
    Just in time!

  17. Trump is a total clinical psycho. No GI or veteran should ever, ever, vote for him. The man is delusional and full of hate. For a draft deserter to make statements he makes should ban him from ever being president. It was bad when he disrespected Senator McCain for getting captured and being a POW. Recently he said that veterans who commit suicide "just can't take it". What the hell has become so wrong in America that people continue to support this madman? People should be sick of these rich bastards who continue to send the young, who are mostly poor and working class, off to war. Hilary is a saint compared to the raving, pathological liar that Trump is.
