The Women's March

Unlike the various protesters that tried to disrupt Donald Trump's inauguration the Women's March this past weekend was done with class, determination and to send a strong message to the president. Millions of women in various locations across the nation and world peacefully assembled to remind president Trump and everyone their concerns on issues concerning women that may not be in line with Trumps future agenda.

Every woman had their own reason for participating and exercising their right to peaceful protest. Some were protesting the president  himself while others joined in for the solidarity of equal rights and other woman issues. For whatever reason congratulations for a well organized, peaceful protest  sending a strong message to politicians and the whole world....

 You go Girls !!!!

  2. Did he not quit being the president elect the day before the protest? Don't women already have equal rights?

  3. You're right, my mistake I changed it... As for women's rights maybe some lady readers can answer that in more detail. I do know there are questions about equal pay for women in some positions in the work force...but I defer to woman who are more qualified to answer that question.

  6. Agreed, on the equal pay, but why did they wait until Trump took office to complain about that? Don't recall any marching when Oboma was the president ? Seems to me they should give Trump a chance before they protested. Maybe I am just old fashioned.

    1. Trump instigated the protest by some of the things that came out during the campaign. I think the majority will give him a "chance" but that is an individual position...

  7. These women do NOT speak for all women. And while their protests were nonviolent, I certainly wouldn't call them classy. Vulgar signs, expletives everywhere, young children carrying vulgar signs. Shameful. They didn't do anything to promote their "cause" -- whatever that might be. They need to give the new president a chance.

    1. Nobody said that these women represented "all" women. They were for various reasons just showing solidarity for woman's issues peacefully. To criticize all of them for a few vulgar signs is unfair. They were just exercising their American right to peaceful protest and assembly...

    2. There were many reasons given for the protest.
This was sent to my wife from a friend of her's.
      I thought it worth repeating.

      | "I listened as they called my President a Muslim.
I listened as they called him and his family a pack of monkeys.
I listened as they said he wasn't born here.
I watched as they blocked every single path to progress that they could.
I saw the pictures of him as Hitler.
I watched them shut down the government and hurt the entire nation twice.
I watched them turn their backs on every opportunity to open worthwhile dialog.
I watched them say that they would not even listen to any choice for Supreme Court no matter who the nominee was.
I listened as they openly said that they will oppose him at every turn.
I watched as they did just that.
      I listened.
      I watched.
      I paid attention.
Now, I'm being called on to be tolerant.
      To move forward.
      To denounce protesters.
      To "Get over it."
      To accept this...
      I will not.
I will do my part to make sure this great American mistake becomes the embarrassing footnote of our history that it deserves to be.
I will do this as quickly as possible every chance I get.
I will do my part to limit the damage that this man can do to my country.
I will watch his every move and point out every single mistake and misdeed in a loud and proud voice.
I will let you know in a loud voice every time this man backs away from a promise he made to them.
Them. The people who voted for him.
The ones who sold their souls and prayed for him to win.
I will do this so that they never forget.
      And they will hear me.
They will see it in my eyes when I look at them.
They will hear it in my voice when I talk to them.
They will know that I know who they are.
They will know that I know what they are.
Do not call for my tolerance. I've tolerated all I can.
Now it's their turn to tolerate ridicule.
Be aware, make no mistake about it, every single thing that goes wrong in our country from this day
forward is now Trump's fault just as much as they thought it was Obama's.
I find it unreasonable for them to expect from me what they were entirely unwilling to give."

This is not my reason for opposing Trump but is a good one nonetheless.

  9. Bat Blog "Pink Pussy" March on DC Analysis

    Over 40 "front groups"
were funded by the convicted currency swindler Georgie Soros.

Alas, none of the Georgie 'front groups'
    were 'exercise groups', 'employment agencies',
'weight watchers', nor 'mental health' support groups......

    This is fun!

    Did you see the picture
of the Clarksville Male Oppressor Pol' with green hair?

  10. The Bat Blog Marches On

    Three women from Jeffersonville
    walk into Mick's Lounge.
They order a Miller , a Budweiser, and a Falls City.
Each of them also want an ice cold Jagermeister shot.
The bartender can tell which of the three went to the DC march.
How does she, the bartender, being a wise Jeffersonville woman, determine that?

  11. The one that went to DC snorts her Jag. Can't use her mouth because her tongue and lips are worn raw from carpet munching.

    1. Bat Blog Jagermeister Consumption Update

      Interesting!
      Ice Cold Jagermeister snorting
      would be invigorating and soundly
prepare a person for real adventure at Mick's!
Such consumption would prepare a person for singing there!
And, it is very important to note that engaging in 'carpet munching'
is a "non-gender specific, inclusive activity".....!
