Election 2011 Analysis - The Final Days

As we head into the final days of Primary Election 2011 HT still feels the election is too close to call. TG is pressing with a all out mailing and telephone blitz , TP seems to be gaining in momentum, and RW seems to be holding his own, as we go down the stretch. And KV well, he still hoping his slogan "Kevin in 11" will be enough to win the race. Sorry Kevin, but slogans don't win races, voters do and they aren't voting for you.
   The thing that makes this race tough to call is - How will the Mike Moore Democrats vote ??? Will they vote for who would be easiest to beat ??? Which in this case would be KV, but even this couldn't help KV's campaign. It might help him get up to10% of the vote though.

    Is there a conspiracy for Moore supporters to vote for Waiz in the primary ?? Maybe but I doubt they could pull this off. The logistics would just be too difficult to organize and there are strong backers of all three of the candidates who have a legitimate shot (TG, RW, TBP), but enough MM backers could put RW over the top.
   TBP has run a very solid, professionally run, clean campaign and seems to have the most momentum as the race enters the stretch. Look for women voters to possibly push over the top and those looking for a non traditional, non political, fresh new face.
 TG has his solid core and will campaign hard with the mailers , telephone calls and will benefit from a 4 candidate race, (3 serious contenders and KV.) TG will try to win at all costs, he's that competitive, but sewer bill, tax bills and the rising cost of the canal may be too much to overcome...

 KV well of course as you know "Catchy slogan."
