***************************** UPDATE****************************************
Since team Awesome has 2 more members I will use the first 4 entries received from team Awesome. Team Awesome you may want to discuss who is your strongest Football persons before submitting an entry
Challenge Details :
This is the first week of the 2011-2012 NFL football season there is 1 game Thurs. night 13 games Sunday and 2 more Mon. night. Your challenge is to select the winners of the Thur. night game, 5 games of your choice of the Sunday Games , and the 2 Monday night games. That is a total of 8 games.
Each member can pick their choices and E-mail them to a neutral referee in this case my attorney Jackie C. Chiles at jackiecchiles@ gmail.com. (notice there are 2 c's in the middle) or posting to the comments section of the BatBlog. He will tabulate the entries, and the team that picks the most cumulative winners will be declared the winner. The entries for Thur.game New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers must be e-mailed before 5:00 P.M. Thur..
The other deadlines will be Sat.- Midnight for the Sunday games and 5: 00 P.M. Mon. for the Monday Games.
Remember you can pick any 5 games of your choice on the Sunday games:
* Tie Breaker in case of ties, each member should submit a number of total points they think will be scored by both teams in the N. O Saints vs G.B. Packers (example 62) it will only be used in case of ties, closest wins...
* HT is not sure if both Teams Cool and Awesome are equal in the number of members, if not I will drop the last received E-mail of the team with most members to make the Challenge equal and fair...
Good Luck !!!!

Football...Oh goodie!! LOL
ReplyDeleteOK, off to figure out why those football players wear such tight little knicker pants and all that sissy padding...I'm sure that will give me real insight into picking the winners. :)
Jules, I haven't figured out a way to eat worms on internet survivor yet!
ReplyDeleteHey I'll take sissy football players anyday over eating worms...LOL
ReplyDelete( I think) :)
There is an update above for the two Teams in order to make things fair.....
ReplyDeleteGo for butts, I like a good tight end!!
ReplyDeleteSP this is a family, G rated blog....
ReplyDeleteJust to clarify, we're sending this in individually, and not one as a team??
ReplyDeleteAnd just a side question...How do you read odd spreads?? :) LOL
Yes Jules each individual makes their own picks and the cumulative scores will determine the team winner. As far as point spreads the favored team will usually have a plus sign like a +5 and the underdog will have minus(-) points. and a E means they are evenly rated
ReplyDeleteSquarePeg has left a new comment on your post "Welcome Survivor Quest Teams !!!":
ReplyDeleteYeah, and so are your semi nekked ladies!!
Thanks HT!!...That's kind of what I thought, but wasn't sure.
ReplyDeleteThis will be fun!! :)
Sports!
ReplyDeleteCrap.....
Sorry YMC, but versatility is important in SurvivorQuest. This may be where Team Cool makes up for earlier losses.
ReplyDeleteI guess you could complain to the moderator, that would be me.....
I'm feeling so empowered by quickly growing and new found knowledge of the NFL!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am very excited too!! Not only is my team playing tonight, but I have enough faith to know they will kick butt!!!! Jules, before I was married, I only knew what a football looked like. Now, with hubs help, I actually understand the game and really get into it, tailgate parties, lucky jersey and all...scarey!!
ReplyDeleteAh geez, what's an old sports editor, sports writer and sports layout designer to do?
ReplyDelete:) I got this and if I don't, I got connections.
I was told, "You're on your own babe...Go out and maybe you'll learn something". Thanks big guy!! ( rolling eyes).
ReplyDeleteHere's a guy who lettered in 4 sports all through high-school, and is still pretty athletically active for his age, but never watches any sports on TV...Doesn't follow any teams, etc...A little March Madness and an occasional Super Bowl party, and that's it...And whatever the kids are/were doing...Oh, and the horses...Go figure.
But as luck would have it, I'm fortune enough to have a former sports editor as a teammate!!...Fate is good!! LOL
Lisa, is your team GB or NO? My brother is crazy about the packers!!
ReplyDeleteNice one HT.
ReplyDeleteI'll end up exiled from Jeffersonville entirely before it's said and done.
Your entry is in Chopper
