Back To War ??? Clarksville Threatens To Flood Jeffersonville....

Generals Moore and Orem
It appears the town of Clarksville didn't learn their lesson after being defeated  in last year's war over the extension of Court Ave. Clarksville  in what The BatBlog sees as a case of extortion boasts that they will flood out 10th St. and downtown Jeff residents if the Jeffersonville Sewer board doesn't hand over 1.5 million dollars for a Clarksville drainage and flooding project.CLICK HERE

To their credit mayor ((generals) Moore and Orem rejected Clarksville's "extortion threat" down flat in the town's attempt to steal the 1.5 million. The BatBlog sees this threat as an act of aggression and another attempt at war by Clarksville. The BatBlog and HT as during the "Court Ave incident" pledges it loyalty and service if needed in these potential hostilities.

If Clarksville floods out Jeff residents as they have threatened, HT is prepared to retaliate and take out Clarksville's only  historical landmark and institution Theatair X... this will bring C'ville to it's knees. Instead of extorting surrounding cities Clarksville needs to learn to pay for it's own projects. Clarksville might be able to extort smaller municipalities like Sellersburg or Borden but we in Jeffersonville will stand strong against tyranny of any hostile neighbors....Semper Fi

  1. Maybe Clarksville should hire them a Chicago type thug like the Sheriff has to put the Jeff council in it's place.

    1. Actually Mr. Gray the C'ville representatives went before the Jeff sewer board asking or threatening for the money. The board unanimously turned them down.

They still plan on going before the city council to coerce the funds.

Do we have any traitors/cowards on the City council willing to give into their demands ???
The BatBlog doesn't know but we will be watching...Semper Fi...

  2. It's a dam good thing the Jeffersonville navy got that new boat a couple years ago so we could keep up with the Clarksville maybe. Go Jeff

    1. Yes, Jeffersonville's navy is better equipped,
better trained and is ready to rumble.

Use the new Jeffersonville navy boat
to take out "Clarksville's Carp Fishing fleet".
That would wreck their economy and bring
      them to their knees!

  3. ...."take out Clarksville's
only historical landmark and institution Theatair X"......

    Wow, that is serious!
Taking out the Theatre X, the Cultural heart of Clarksville,
would seriously erode their spirit and will.

Build The Clarksville Wall! Keep them downhill and downriver.
Without the Theatre X to worship, they would only have Carp Fishing
    to keep their culture going....

  4. Another casualty of the flooding war
would be the 'Circa 1968 Clarksville Hippie Vans'
that are used to move the carp fishing boats and equipment
and Theatre X "novelties". The News and Tribune
had a picture about a month ago of some Clarksville persons
carp fishing in their flooded front yard with a partially
submerged hippie van in the background.

  5. Thank you for your service ht! Build that wall!, build that wall!, build that wall!

  6. Clarksville Council has a builder on the board. Don't need any bids just build the wall, send them a bill and make more money off the town. He already has a stake in the new gun range going in over there and rumor has it the town is going to contribute some money too !

(IE > a need ta see anybody's TAX stamps/paper....it ain't nobody's damn bizznizz, x'cept the gunowner/shooter.... my .02, an' I'a tell ya ta pound sand...)

    2. Range is a great idea BD. Don't think a councilman being a silent partner is a good thing though if the town is sending money that direction. Not sure it passes the smell test. Then again not many things politicians do.

  9. Clarksville's current elected officials
threatened the Federal Flood Control District
that they would "Block the Drains" if they did not
    get their way.

    Jeffersonville has a superior Navy
and can take out the cash flow cow Theatre X,
sink the Carp Boat Fishing Fleet, and burn the driftwood.

    Clarksville's economy sinks.

    Eventually, the blocked drains thing
will add to Clarksville's downstream flooding woes....

  10. "Combined sewer overflows occur when underground pipes can't contain the amount of rainwater and sewage, leading to overflows in local rivers and streams."

    From the newsandtribune.com
    http://www.newsandtribune.com/news/jeffersonville-sewer-board-says-no-to-clarksville-flooding-project-funds/article_802b4a86-f49c-11e6-ae49-637db836b777.html

Dale Orem, sewer board member, said they're a "very, very small part of their problem."

He doesn't think someone who lives outside of the flooding area and well above river levels should have to pay for this project.

"It's a flood control issue," Orem said.
The Jeffersonville-Clarksville Flood Control Board, of which Moore is also a member, unanimously committed to up to $2 million in possible bonds for the estimated $5 million project. Clarksville is contributing $1.5 million. Baity said he'll approach the Jeffersonville City Council and Redevelopment Commission next to ask for a matching contribution.

If Jeffersonville doesn't contribute money, Clarksville officials say they will seal off the town's storm drains and build a smaller pipe to handle runoff water. Baity claims water that backs up through a larger existing pipe wouldn't have anywhere to go but 10th Street and Interstate 65 in Jeffersonville.

"We believe there would be significant flooding there that would impact Jeffersonville," he told the board.

    The War is spreading!
A "Witches Coven", possibly working undercover
for Clarksville, has threatened Goliath's compound with a "Wind Voodoo" attack!

A member of a secretive and dangerous Coven
    said that she can
    "command the wind"....
and that she "has a hurricane in me that will strip the Goliath compound bare"....

There was also a cheap shot
at the awards given to the Really Cool Bat Blog
with a reference about GAW News as "a pathetic click bait
for your seriously FAILING so-called “news blog” with readership
which is WAY down. Becoming irrelevant!"

It looks like another dern Two Ocean War !

      'BikerDude', nice expose!

These new wars could get messy...
      1.) Clarksville's Historical Educational Center,
Theatre X, has been represented by an excellent attorney.,
2.) 'Goose Abuse' with ex-lax is not allowed by the Rules
set forth at The Geneva Convention.,
3.) The use of "Wind Voodoo" against the Goliath Compound
is a serious elevation in hostilities.,
4.) Calling the GAW News Bureau "Fake News"
really gets this war elevated even more!,
5.) The first War starts when Clarksville threatens to "Seal The Drains!"
while Jeffersonville is attempting to help
      "Drain the Clarksville Swamp!",
6.)Next, the Secret Coven is "commanding the winds"
and readying "Wind Voodoo" against the Ritzy Goliath Compound
on Nantucket Bay (next to Bernie's.)

    2. Well, HT, as you no doubt are aware, I have easily vanquished the sleepy and inattentive giant Goliath and annexed his land to my Royal Cyber Realm. He was not vigilant, as you have always been, and his borders were as porous as a sieve. I offered the possibility of a diplomatic solution when it became clear that I had bested him, but he foolishly rebuffed my gracious offer and now finds himself in thrall to me as my vassal.
