Batblog New Feature - Yesteryears
HT has found these neat old pictures of Jeffersonville the top one is Court Ave. back when casino's flourished in downtown. I think a couple of these buildings might still be standing. The bottom picture is the marriage parlor where HT and Mrs. HT were married. I like the sign "marriage licenses procured here."

  2. I don't know if it's the same place for sure...But, I had friends who got married at a marriage parlor on Court back in the mid-70's...I'd almost forgotten about that place...The place we went to was close to the court house, and I can't tell from the pictures if that's it or not though.

  5. I vaguely remember it as well Jules and like you I'm not sure if it's same building. seems like it was in block directly across from the Courthouse or the next block going west

  6. Goliath still has no spinning globe or a Goliath cursor. Just a couple of features that sets the BatBlog apart from GAW. GAW still king of breaking local political news. My cowls off to you on that one....
