I have spent many Saturdays in this place. As a kid, my parents would send me and my brother to the movies so they could do their thing. I remember 10 cents to get in and sometimes the man with the "be good light" would let us in free. As I got older and finished my army obligation, I was a member of the Army Res. at 11th and Penn. One week end our group went into the LeRose and removed all the seats and took them to storage behind the reserve center. To me, that was a sad day having to take all that stuff out and knowing there would be no more movies. These are good pics of yesteryear HT, you should post more of them if you have more. Me too Ironhorse, I remember watching a Tarzan movie there and somebody threw a dart at the screen. They turned the lights on but never caught the culprit. I have great memories of downtown Jeff in a much simpler time....
