The 2016 Election Bat Poll

The highly accurate and always interesting BatPoll is up for the 2016 Election. Highlighted by the controversial and contemptuous presidential race ...this should be an exciting election cycle. Democrats have an opportunity to gain seats in the Senate, House and Governor that have been held by the GOP in recent years...

Tell your friends and relatives and be sure to vote in the "Award Winning" BatBlog's  2016 BatPoll.

  1. I can't believe people are voting for Hollingsworth on here. Tennessee fans, I guess?

  2. I see the libertarians have infiltrated your polling. In reality, none have a chance.

  3. Are you afraid the Libertarians will actually win and bring about actual change? It's time to bring Liberty back into our County and our lives.

  4. No chance, but I wish you good luck!

  5. The libertarian's ideas have been in the marketplace of ideas now for a generation. They are not accepted. By their own so called 'ideals' this failure to thrive should clue them in and they should mature politically. They won't though because they would lose this great chance to feel righteous and at the same time not responsible for actually doing a damn thing.

  6. Yeah forget about that pesky idea known as Liberty.

  7. If by not responsible for a damn thing, you mean not responsible for wars, deficits, drowning kids, shooting black kids and stuff, you're right. We're not responsible.
And, yeah, I guess I feel pretty righteous about opposing rather than being responsible for that stuff.

  8. Make that droning kids. Our government probably drowns them too - Syrian refugees indirectly, for example - but I meant droning.

  9. Does it tell you anything, at all, that your ideas have not been accepted. If these were your brand of potato chips you were trying to sell...what would it tell you to have this lack of success selling your brand of tater chips? Like...the market is telling you that your tater chips suck.Right? That's the libertarian way...let the market sort it out. Well...the Market has sorted your political party out.

  10. What part our ideas have not been accepted? The pot legalization part? The marriage equality part? The part where everybody wants to call themselves anti-establishment now?

  11. The part where people vote for Libertarian candidate part.

  12. There are a few things you just can't get through your head.

Your idea of winning is irrelevant to our goals and processes. You've made it clear you're a prude, vanilla, little chicken shit that doesn't think someone should take a risk if the outcome isn't guaranteed but will sit back with the protection of anonymity and keep trying to tear down those braver than you.

Further, you don't even get the irony of repeatedly saying a group of people can't win, aren't having an impact, basically are insignificant. If what we are doing doesn't matter, why does it bug you so much?

We've apparently impacted policy in a way you don't like, or we threaten a candidate you support. Something about our participation threatens you, or you wouldn't keep trying to minimalize and discourage.

Funnier is that though you keep spouting off these supposed pronouncements of political reality, but you're hardly a skilled operative. Don't you know the playbook says to just pretend third-party and independent challengers don't exist, lol? Every one of your posts legitimize us for just the reason I stated above. It shows you see us as a threat to which you have to respond.

    And you should.

    RDA, anyone?

  13. Anon. that post isn't going to help the perception of the Libertarian party...If you ever want the Lib. party to be a legitimate, constant and effective part of the political process you need to ignore the needling and press forward with ideas and policy that people can embrace..Not engage with bickering we've seen enough of that....
