They're Baaaack !!!

Frick and Frack, Moan and Groan, Beavis and Butthead or Flush and Float or whatever you want to call them. The two biggest local whiners and crybabies are back on the Clark Co. Chatter. NHBSM and Kruger after an extended absence following Mike Moore's resounding re-election...  return to take some cheap pot shots at the mayor after slithering away with egg firmly planted on their faces after supporting Moore's opponent Dennis Julius in the 2015 mayoral election.

There is nothing wrong with opposing policy of office holders or choosing to support the candidate of one's choice...but Flush and Float take it to a whole other personal and juvenile level. Like NHBSM's silly childlike refusal to put Moore's name in capital letters and Krueger's whining about his delusion of imaginary slush funds.

Most readers realize the whining and petty shots are an attempt to get back at the mayor after he (Moore) unceremoniously fired Flush (NHBSM) but readers are mostly just amused by their childish rants and pay little attention to these two grumpy old men. As the results of the election proved Moore is popular and taken Jeffersonville to new levels developmentally and growth wise...

Keep on whining Moan and Groan you make for good blogging material...

  1. I will say, the recent developments with the EPA should be concerning to Jeff residents. There is a very real possibility that the man who proposed to do it for less, may actually cost us more. Let's hope that the EPA is forgiving.

    4. If you can't post as HT, it doesn't really matter now does it? You whine about the CCC and Q constantly, but they never mention you. They own you!

  4. Unfunded Federal Government Mandate Order Placed Upon Jeffersonville:
If the Federalistas mandate it, then they can pay for it.

So, are "Moan and Groan" in favor of the canal as a solution? Or not?
Was the very expensive canal a workable solution?

Will "Moan and Groan" tell us if they are in favor of the canal,
explain the cost, procedure, time line, disruptions, and potential for success?

Remember that the combination sewer lines have been utilized for how long?
100 years? Don't the main lines run from around Meigs with some huge old brick collection systems?

Richard Vissing, Buddy Parker, Tom Galligan, Dale Orem, Rob Waiz,
and Mike Moore have all been working on the problem.
Even John Perkins, Monty Snelling, and Geordie Budd have had input on solutions.

The lowest point in Jeffersonville is 8th and Ohio
so that is a natural water drainage collection area.
    Water runs downhill.

No one has come along with a real "lowest cost" solution.
All avenues are outrageously expensive and difficult.

    1. Anon. is right this mandate has been around for along time with multiple players mostly dodging the issue and playing a game of chicken with the Feds...The resolution will probably be delayed to infinity as in reality this is an issue where the EPA really oversteps there bounds...The Canal was never a viable solution just a Gilligan re-election ploy. The mandate is like an elephant in the room that nobody wants to adress just pass it along to future generations...

    3. Bring in the Bundy dude from out West.
Maybe a "Jeffersonville Sagebrush Rebellion" is due!

Congressional candidate Russell Brooksbank can be elected
and he can give the Federalistas
      the "Freedom Finger"!

Would buds "Moan and Groan" support that?

  5. Actually, in other cities that kept kicking the can, a judge from somewhere else set rates and ordered projects to meet requirements.

I have no idea if the canal is/was a better option. But Mike did say he could do it for less. We shall see.

But I don't see this as an overreach. We are dumping raw sewage in the river.

  7. Congressional candidate Russell Brooksbank
    gives "Moan and Groan"
    the "Freedom Finger"!

    That would be cool!

Would buds "Moan and Groan" support that?

  8. Other municipalities have been using eminent domain for years, and you don't seem to like that?

And that doesn't affect the water quality and health of people down stream!

  9. In a perfect world I guess any contaminants kept out of waterways would be ideal. The economical effect has to be weighed in as well. These overflows are not something that occur every day and have a minimal maybe non existent effect on water quality and health. These requirements are something to shoot for I guess but the economic effect on households is troubling...

  10. Say what you want about the 2 of them, but they do add something relevant ( more times than not ) to discussions...It just not might not be what some want to hear...I personally am glad to see them back posting somewhere...And I think the CCC might be glad too.

  11. ...."they do add something relevant".....lol !

"Moan and Groan" and "Piss and Moan" is much accurate.

    We do feel their pain!
