The Art of the No Deal...

The self proclaimed "great" deal maker Donald "Comrade" Trump saw his replacement healthcare bill for ObamaCare crash and burn Friday as his own party rejected TrumpCare without even a vote. Trump/s threats to GOP party regulars in the House of Rep.'s  that they would "lose their seats" obviously fell on deaf ears in a Congress where  the Republican party has a significant majority..

Trump is finding out early on his agenda to "make America great again" doesn't quite fit in with what  even his own party thinks needs to be done. Healthcare arguably the most important issue facing American families and certainly to many the most financially taxing cost to a families income, is now and for the foreseeable future just another one of The Donald's promises which he won't be able  to follow through on...Maybe The Trumpster can consult with the ole Kenyan... Barrack "Barry" Obama on how to close out a deal on healthcare...

Let's see Trump's Muslim immigration ban has been stopped by Federal court, nothing new on
stopping Isis. Supposedly next up is tax reform, which may be a harder sell than TrumpCare. Tax breaks for the rich will sink faster than the proverbial "lead balloon." in today's political climate.

Oh Well !!! We still have "The Wall" that Mexico said they aren't paying for...

Build that Wall !!!    Build that Wall !!!

    1. Yes it was a win in some respect for the Freedom Caucus, but on the same hand they just obstructed their own party. I guess you can applaud them for sticking to their values but in doing so they just perpetuated ObamaCare.

Also any Freedom Caucus plan for healthcare has absolutely zero chance of ever being enacted as law...

    1. Have you ever seen the results first hand what a dictatorship looks like ? If so you wouldn't make such comments, even if only joking. That comment is in very bad taste.

    3. Goliath watched the Dictatorship that prevailed over on the CCC before it was toppled by incompetent IT. Goliath agrees ...it looked pretty ugly.

    4. Looks like Quasar the dictator in chief of the CCC has disappeared and dropped the CCC and Granny like an ugly blind date...and is in exile in his parent's basement still trying to access the Google help line...

    5. Your welcome Goliath, anytime. Actually I was referring to a country ran by a dictator and not a website. Your reference to Trump the dictator was a joke I'm sure ( hope so anyway)

    6. The CCC still has potential. Hate to see it in decline. Been a lot of good conversations over there.

  6. Obamacare is worthy. Had it been implemented the way it was designed and recommended there would be no problems with it.

    1. Totally agree Snowman... The GOP did everything they could to make this bill suffer, especially at the state level where they limited the exchanges, The basic premise would work with cooperation.

Now Trump wonders why NO Democrats supported his TrumpCare bill...DUH !!!

  7. So the Democrats passed the bill without a single Republican vote yet when it fails it somehow the Republicans fault??

  8. So what you're saying is the Democrats are acting exactly the same way now?

  9. Right. Keep it on ideological warfare. No I am not saying that. Bernie Sanders is going to bring legislation to improve it. I expect House Dems to do like wise. Obama himself issued a statement a few weeks ago that if the GOP came up with an improved plan he would support it. That's called, 'being for America FIRST...party second'.

  10. So only when their plan is on the brink of collapsing do their request any input from the Republicans? that way it won't be all their fault when it fails.

    1. Lets say you are correct and that it IS on the brink of collapsing. (I don't personally believe that but it doesn't matter.) Would you prefer for it to collapse? I think that's part of the diff between DEMS and GOPS. GOP rather let there be a disaster than to actually work with the other side. Party over the common good for America. That's why we are in the ridiculous position we are in today on issue after issue. GOP really seems to prefer disasters rather than working with those filthy fellow Americans who happen to be DEM.

Show me something positive the GOP has done for the American people in the past ten years. Just ONE thing.
