The CCC Wall of Fame ....New Poll Up

As promised after the election the BatBlog will announce a Clark County Chatter "Wall of Fame", included is a poll to the right to vote on your favorite poster or somebody worthy of the "Wall of Fame" These are off the top of my head so forgive me if I left someone out. This poll is merely a guide, the winners will be at the sole discretion of the BatBlog. Also write in votes are welcome because as I said I'm sure I left some worthy posters out...Leave your write in votes in the comments section

Also automatic inductees to the "Wall" will be SuperMike who started the CCC and the late Professor2 who was a great moderator early on and a super nice man Also a special thanks to Rick Stephenson and Kevin Vissing  they are a couple of  the few office holders with the courage to answer the tough questions publically ...Also multiple votes are acceptable... Be Sure To Vote !!!!

NOTE...How could I forget BikerDude...Sorry Dude... but I'm sure no one will have a problem putting the Dude right on the "Wall of Fame" he totally slipped my mind and you can't add once the poll is started....The Dude  would have been near the top so he's automatically on....

  4. Woo is a smart ass, and thank god you didn't list Saville Rowe. He She has ruined every blog with multiple postings that make no sense. I bet SR is a motor mouth in real life.

  5. Savile Row is my all time favorite!
Thank God that he is effectively exposing the DWARKS.
    The posts
    by the dedicated SR
    are detailed,
    intelligent,
    and very informative.
I can see why "The Stalking Element" fears them.

    Perennial politicos
who want to run-and-run-and-run for office
    are real bummers, dude!

    These dull perennial politicos
are always negative and are very fearful
of alternative citizen voices that dare to differ from their tiring efforts.

One of them even blamed President Barack Obama, a Democrat,
for their local losses this year!

"It is nice to see SR is in their heads and the op is working."
H-T has planned it very well.

  7. Anon. Woo is a good poster and was an excellent moderator at one time e and Savile Row IS included and doing quite well in the early voting.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Only moderator that should be up for vote is GG. All others bullies who give lots of leeway to posters with similar beliefs and a quick trigger on those with opposing views.

This includes former moderators as well.

    ReplyDelete
  9. My only vote will be for Jules. No matter what differences she and I have had in the past we both are respectful to one another and can come together and discuss the joys and woes of motherhood. :)

Oh......yeah.......Ughh, put me RITE NEX'ta the 'LOO chic, would'ja?.......LOLOLOLOLOL!

  11. So, SR is nominating himself. You'd think if SR was worthy, someone else would. Hmm! Motor mouth......ha!

    ReplyDelete
  12. SR does have has the haters stressed!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I don't think stressed is the word.

More like puzzled at first and then bored shitless.

But I think that's the whole idea.

He gets to show-off and bask in his own imagined cleverness and take the Ccc down at the same time. Lol

  14. I don't hate Saville Row. I just can never figure out what he's / she's trying to say. I'll see where they started a topic and it has 10 replies and when I look, they're all from him / her. WTF? It's like those crazy people I see downtown arguing with themselves.

  15. Journalism has varying styles for different applications.
Journalism schools teach differing delivery styles
to reach persons with varying levels
    of comprehension.

    Multiple short segments
are generally much easier to read, enjoy, and understand.

Breaking the "postings" into "shorter informational segments"
makes it easier to cover detailed material.

    Two examples:
    The short segment style
is a style utilized by USA Today
and is the opposite of that
    used by The New Yorker
    magazine.

Additionally, note that most of the postings
are the direct wording, quotes, and cites from various publications
and are clearly referenced as such. They are reposted
    WITH ATTRIBUTION.

The multiple postings, often with differing subject matter
and from different articles are individually posted
    and referenced.
(I would hope that you noticed that little detail.)

Many normal people say they enjoy the compilation
of the information and acquire knowledge
    from the articles.

    Obviously, you are very challenged
even by the shorter segment style. It is intended
to make it easier for you to comprehend the information.

    Poor "Befuddled Anonymous" also posted:
"I just can never figure out what he's / she's trying to say."
Sorry about that. I know that understanding the information
can often be difficult for those that are so challenged.
    I feel your pain.

    A solution for you!
Just have someone READ THE SHORT SEGMENTS to you
    and have them EXPLAIN
the content and meaning to you as well!

Please stop the nasty and unstable stalking.
If you are having so much trouble with
    fundamental reading and comprehension,
    perhaps you can get assistance
    for that along with your
    mental health
    counseling.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Whoa! Didn't mean to push your buttons there SR. I'm sure you are right. I probably am just too challenged to grasp your lofty content. A lot of people think I'm stupid. Especially here in the local blogosphere. Then again, a lot of people don't.

But I'm not "stalking" anybody. I made a single comment on your posts and my inability to follow them. ONE POST.

But I've been participating in the CCC since long before it was even the CCC. I started out when it was the Evening News Reader's Forum. So I try to read pretty much whatever gets posted. But obviously your posting style isn't my cup of tea. You say it is due to my "trouble with fundamental reading and comprehension". You're not the first person who has made that accusation. I kind of doubt that is the case. But whatever it is I will refrain from further comment and hopefully that will alleviate your concerns about my "nasty and unstable stalking". Have a great day and , once again, please accept my apology for ruffling your feathers.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Those who are bothered by SR's posts only have to use the "ignore" feature of the CCC if they are truly bothered.

SR provides a lot of information and is in the know of a lot of political info and politicians present and past. One would be wise to pay attention, for some of the inside scoop...

    Carry On SR !!!

  18. Whether or not I make it by votes to your Wall of Fame (and let's face it, HT, your voting contests have fallen victim to hackers in the past), I will always be proud of the fact that I started the longest running active (and peaceful) thread on the CCC - The Weekend Music Club (8/13/2010 to the most recent post 11/7/2015). Quite an accomplishment in CCC cat herding, and that should count for automatic qualification in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Cindi you know you have always been one of my favorites... The poll is just a guide, the final
decision is at the discretion of the BatBlog "Wall of Fame" committee ...

I would say since you haven't posted as often as in the past is the reason for your fairly low vote total at this time...JMO

  20. Trackrat, I think SR has hardening of the arteries. This can cause his crazy double quadruple posting. His wife will be taking away his keys soon. Hopefully the nursing home keeps an eye on him.
Someone else mentioned his nickname of Motor Mouth. Once I was at a local bar, and I asked a local patron who that guy is that never takes a breath of air. E said it was SR. I had to laugh. He does the same thing when he posts.

    ReplyDelete
  21. No comment! If a single post got me labeled as a nasty, unstable stalker, I don't want to know what a second would bring.

    ReplyDelete
  22. .Anon SR is very smart. He has systematically fooled the Republicans into thinking he is on their side. He has ever one fooled. I've heard him dog the local republicans, making fun of them. He will end up with a job out of Mayor Moore.

    ReplyDelete
  23. SR rocks!
Perhaps he is the best in the field currently.

It would be beneficial to listen to him.
Appreciate his "aggregation" of the various
sites that are reposted as they are very, very good.

The CCC has grown as a journalistic entity because of the way cool SR person.

Remember, that that 80% of the postings are the informational
    reposts of various news sources.

H-T comprehends and some "dullards" decent.

The exposure of the excessive and very wasteful "special interest" spending
by the council on the multi-million dollar soccer fields
is a good public service by SR and others.
The CCC and The Award Winning Bat Blog
    havecovered it very well.
    Keep up the good work.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So, "Ernile Pyle," you're saying that there are some perfectly honorable people on the CCC who are also, sadly, not too bright, and that HT understands that - is that correct? Based upon the example you've so graciously given here, I think I would have to agree with that assessment.

  26. Cindiloohoo posted:
..."you're saying that there are some 'perfectly honorable people' on the CCC who are also, sadly, 'not too bright' "....

Some posters on the Award Winning Bat Blog and the CCC are hateful
and strangely attempt to attack anyone who discusses issues,
policies, a candidate's positions, voting records,
    etc., rather than honorably discuss
    the issues, etc., themselves.

    Additionally, Savile Row
    has correctly noted
that many of his postings on the CCC
    are an "informational aggregation process"
    in small separate posts
    of many stories FROM
    various sites.

    "The Drudge Report"
    and "Real Clear Politics"
are two such "aggregation" sites from which stories are provided,
along with several major media outlets
    that are often quoted.

Some people have chosen to attack Savile Row
and say they have trouble reading,
when it has been noted that many
    of the postings
    are interesting stories
selected from various other sites that
are very informative and give a multitude of detail.

Cindiloohoo, is very gracious of you to compliment Ernie Pyle!
    Thank you!

  27. Gosh Ernie Pyle, your writing style seems very familiar. I can't quite put my finger on it but your posts sound remarkably similar to someone else I've read recently. Anyway, it's very beneficent of you to stand up for SR like you are. You two must be VERY close.

    T-Rat,
why are continuing the childish stalking?
Ialso read that you had previously posted that you would desist.

    (Desist: abstain, refrain)

I agree that your weird stalking behavior
does not contribute to the intent of the Award Winning Bat Blog
which is to promote the "discussion of issues, policies,
    a candidate's positions,
    voting records, etc."

Dude, I also thought that you were going to get someone
to READ TO YOU and EXPLAIN the posts to you...
    :)

  29. Hi, HT. I am glad you are including Supermike and Professor02 on your CCC Wall of Fame. They certainly deserve a place. Another member who has passed on that I enjoyed reading and picking on was Southern Man. And, yes, Bikerdude! Some folks love him, some do not appreciate him and his posting style, but he's never ignored, lol. Another love him or hate him is NSBHM...he was instrumental in getting the Chatter started and does deserve credit for that, at least. Coltsfan was not a member favorite, either, but he played a big part helping Supermike keep the site up when the site got too much for one man to handle.

Beyond that, there are too many good members, many on the forum since day one, for me to start naming favorites. I'd be here all night!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Actually Ernie Pyle, 3rd District voter, anonymous, and many more seem to have the same style. Its that thingy thing, Dude! Is there only 5 people on this blog?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Along with Farm Post Hole Digger.

    Somebody needs attention badly.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Getting back to the subject at hand, I found it interesting that almost all my votes went to Chatter Chicks. But I would also like to cast a ballot for Super Mike, the founder of the Chatter. He and I were engaged in quite a debate over Theatair X on the last day of Hey Martha. After probably 10 posts each in the thread BOOM! the site goes down, never to return. But Mike stepped up and created the Chatter in short order. The rest is history.

If the Award Winning Bat Blog has only five posters,
why do you read or post on the neat Bat Blog?
They must be in your head very badly
    for you to continue
    to attack
    the blog.

  34. HT has the best blog around! Your distinguished style of writing is evident as a multi poster Dude!
