Did Toxic John Break One Off in the Taxpayers ???

According to an article published by the News and  Tribune "Toxic" John Perkins ordered work done on his neighbors property. Link to article Road Work  Using  county labor , equipment, and materials this seems to have the appearance of impropriety. In order to get the story straight from the" horses mouth", the BatBlog sent a correspondent to Bethlehem In. home of "Toxic" John to get an answer

Batblog Reporter Question- John a lot of people are wondering if this is appropriate use of taxpayer money. John did you break one off in the taxpayers of Clark Co. ??/

  1. Where is the outrage by Les and Ed? By Kevin Vissing? Where is the spewing hatred by Keith Fetz? Is The Oracle reporting on this? Silence by the whole lot. Now, let's suppose Moore pulled a stunt like this while he held the commissioner seat. The aforementioned would be howling like crazed hounds! There would be photos turned over to the paper of the work, logs of fuel used, man hours, truck mileage, cost of dirt, letters to the editor, loud and condemning public statements.

  4. If I was Young or Meyer I would be distancing myself as far away from "Toxic" John as I could.

He could very well take down every Co. Dem. candidate just by association....

  5. That's what I think, as well as what SHOULD happen. By caucusing in John Perkins, every democrat involved in that is guilty by association.

Someone better put a leash on that man, if they want to maintain ANY hope of gaining ground on the republicans going forward.

Then again, perhaps they realize they're going to lose the majority on both the council and the commissioners. Got to get in all the freebies they can while the getting is good!

  8. I heard Perkins was given the appointment on purpose, perhaps the democrats finally really wanted Meyer and Young gone but didn't have the b*lls to tell them not to run again? Let mad-man Perkins in the mix so voters would get rid of the other two for them?

Really, I figure Perkins was put in there to be the bad guy for a while, hoping the voters would think the other two look good compared to him and will vote for them again. This strategy can't work though, since the other two don't ever denounce Perkins.

Then again who knows? Let's just vote the other two out and sit back and laugh at how much cooperation Perkins gets from Stephenson and Coffman.
