I can't blame them for being upset. They had a sweet set up going. A few hundred dollars a year to dock, no property taxes to pay, and no hook up to Jeffersonville's sanitary sewer system because their house floats.
I can understand them being upset too, but the riverfront doesn't belong to them. The docks were an eyesore and needed improvement. They should be glad that improvements are being made and they can move back if they choose to do so...The planned new riverfront should be an asset to the City...
I was being a bit sarcastic there. I agree that the docks were an eyesore and look forward to the coming improvements.
And it wasn't all that great that their poop was going directly into the river either.
Well I guess we can pick and choose which mayor we get upset with about lying.
