Citing the apparent political nature of the lawsuit ,Jeffersonville city attorney Les Merkley requested and will have an out of county judge appointed to rule on what many have called a frivolous, purely political lawsuit by local legend in his own mind NHBSM. The lawsuit to stop the "Jeffersonville Gateway Project "which Merkley has also requested NHBSM put up a 24 million dollar bond will now be overseen by a judge from Scott Co.
