It's become stagnant in my opinion because of the heavy handed moderation by one of the Administrators and the same , tired theme and direction of the individual forums. The State & National forum has pretty much become a continuous thread after thread bashing Pres. Obama by Quasar who initiates probably 85% of the threads in the S&N forum of which 95 % are bashing Obama.
Hey even us Democrats admit Obama hasn't been the shining new star and has been mediocre at best, but he isn't the socialist, gun taking anti-christ either, as portrayed on the Chatter. And he was reelected, so the Chatter led by the Obama hating administrator has taken a horribly inaccurate one sided slant that is unrealistic and some members have informed me they are intimidated to post in the S&N because of the way it leans and afraid of being shouted down by the Obama hating crowd.
And of course you have NHBSM in the Jeff forum, where every post seems to have either a direct or indirect shot at Jeff's mayor, who fired NH. It's a shame Clark County is being derived of it's once vibrant forum where you could debate, back and forth today's issues, without censorship....
I used to read the chatter daily. It's clearly moderated to closely. Once I figured out Mike Hutt was full of it I was done listening to him. There needs to be a blog that is not party directed. It's clear who gawnews likes and dislikes. It's clear hoosiertaxpayer is totally democrat. If I could articulate better I would start one. In the meantime hoosiertaxpayer blog is the most friendly in posting a comment.
ReplyDeleteyep the chatter isn't nearly as interesting as it once was. a lot of the regulars have left or been banned i assume. It doesn't seem like there are as near as many posters as there once was either.

ReplyDeleteObviously there are a lot of people who support and who voted for Obama, but you sure wouldn't know it by reading the Chatter...
For a forum to be interesting and to succeed it has to be balanced or those in the minority will be afraid to express their opinions..
By the Big Q dominating the post of topics it has become way too one sided and boring...
NHBSM tries to dominate the Jeff forum with all his anti Mayor Moore bullshit, but people have figured him out and know he's just full of shit and nobody cares...
