Top Ten Stories of the Local Internet of 2013 - No.6 - The Battle between Mayor and City Council

Another year passed and again not much got done in Jeff other than, Jeff becoming a 2 Taco Bell town, that's right TWO !. Mayor Moore was burdened by some embarrassing personal issues that his critics reveled and tittered about like little school girls. And of course the Jeffersonville City Council led by the 3 Stooges made sure nothing got done again this year by nit picking, delaying, criticizing and non funding practically every proposed project of the mayors. The Stooges still in mourning over former mayor Tom Galligan's defeat made sure the transition was as difficult as possible and Jeff remained virtually the same as it has all during the Stooge's terms. After being manipulated like puppets all during the Galligan administration Moe , Larry , and Curley decided to think on their own .....big mistake.

After mindlessly squandering down the drain untold hundreds of thousands of dollars on Galligan's reelection ploy and pipe dream "The Canal" the Stooges had a problem funding even a couple hundred dollars for some commemorative pen sets for MM. So it's business as usual in Jeffersonville. While Jeff retains the 1960's look and atmosphere. Clarksville and New Albany thrive and move forward, the only thing thriving  in Jeff is property taxes and sewer bill charges. Fortunately though for Jeff residents Clarksville and New Albany are near by, the only problem is using Jeff's poorly thought out and outdated road infrastructure to get there...
