  3. This story is a campaign year smear by republican candidate Jeremie Mull so he looks all tuff on crime on an easy target his office has been beating up on already in the press. Hey Jeremie! Isn't your office the chief law enforcement office in the county? If the judge is wrong aren't you suppose to get off your butt and appeal? Since when is the judge responsible for the crimes of some dude he sentenced already?

  4. Where's Stewart than Anon. ? Isn't he the head man in charge ??? Why doesn't he speak up and defend Jacobi if he's done nothing wrong ?

There is enough incompetence and blame to go around here...prosecutor, sheriff, and judges but watch Knoebel will take the all the blame, when she only deserves part of it...

  5. Good point Batman. Where is Stewart? He is out of the action. Totally a loser.

Look, Bob Bottorff was his treasurer for his last campaign. He was in the spot Jeremy Mull had in Jacobi's court.

Jerry Jacobi, as screwed up as he actually is, made Steve Stewart. Maybe Stewart doesn't remember but some of us do, that Jerry Jacobi refused to take a position as UCC attorney for Evan Bayh until he waa assured Evan would appoint Stewart prosecutor to replace him.

(Many were pressuring for Mike Forsee) But Stewart has set back and let Jeremie Mull hack on him, and given him a platform against Bob Bottorff, and generally behaved by NON ACTION like a total ddisloyal canard.

SHAME ON STEVE STEWART. What a creep.

  6. Everyone is worried about judges...wouldn't a male inmate harming a female inmate be the sheriff's fault if we want to make it political? And if there are no politicians involved, it's not a story? I'm sure the woman who was assaulted appreciates everyone's concern.

  7. If you look close at this mess as I said before there's plenty of blame to throw around.

To me the prosecutor, Sheriff's Dept., and Judges all look bad and there is incompetence all through and up and down the system....

  9. The woman that was sexual assaulted. Where was the deputies that take the inmates back and forth. Surely .... Someone from the Sheiffs dept is to blame here??

  10. Stewart has been nothing but disappointing. He has been in charge way to long.

  11. Not the judges fault, not the sheriffs fault, not the janitors fault...it's the attackers fault

  12. Yes the attacker was at fault. But the jail staff is suppose to protect the inmates. Right?

  13. Yes it was the attackers fault, but he wouldn't have been in the county jail if his modification was not being entertained by the court. Yes, the corrections staff are responsible for controlling the inmates in court.

If the judge didn't provide so much ammunition it would make it difficult for Jeremy to smear him. But despite the fact that it is a political season rights were violated and something is very wrong with the clark county criminal justice system. Tina

  14. The attacker will be punished as another charge will be added to his record, but the jailers incompetence as well as the judge's will go unpunished, you can bet on that...

  15. Guess I need to use Martina on here so there's no confusion on the two Tina's! Ha! :)

  16. Hope Clark County learns its lesson on Tuesday. Vote No to Jerry Jacobi. He has a ton of responsibility in the drug court fiasco. He is a master at trying to blame others, hold him accountable.
