Election 2014 Primary Polls

Preliminary voting in the BatBlog Poll has the races pretty much going as the BatBlog predicted. "Toxic" John Perkins is running a little stronger than predicted. Laura Harbison, Brian Meyers, and Susan Popp making strong early showings and Dan Moore has a lead on Drew Adams. The only thing that has really surprised the BatBlog is the poor showing of ex-judge Steve Fleece, which may be due to the strong popularity of Susan Popp Stay Tuned and be sure to vote...

  2. Mr. Meyer seems like a positive individual. However, he is an officer with the current administration. A major issue with the Clark County jail is the amount of illegal drugs available to the inmates. Any inmate who has spent any time in jail will report that any drug available on the street is available in jail. This is common knowledge. Anyone associated with the courts or law enforcement is aware of this. Unless they hide their head in the sand and pretend the problem does not exist. A sheriff's candidate must run on a promise to clean up the jail. If we can't keep the dope out of our jails, how can we expect to control drug trafficking on the street.
