My sympathy goes out to bikerdude. My secretary's cat of 22 years passed away today. Funny how we can become so attached to an animal that we can talk to all day long only to have them stare at us like we are crazy. Just showed that God knew what he was doing when he created dogs and cats for our enjoyment.

Oh, dude, I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how much it hurts. And I know that any dog that found a home with you was a lucky dog, indeed.
